Abstract
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาลักษณะของใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ (2) ศึกษาผลตอนแทนและความเสี่ยงของใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ (3) ศึกษาแนวทางการลงทุนในใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ และ (4) จัดทําเอกสารทางวิชาการเกี่ยวกับใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาจากข้อมูลทุติยภูมิที่เกี่ยวข้องกับใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ที่มีสินค้าอ้างอิงเป็นหุ้นสามัญในเซ็ท 50 ที่จดทะเบียนซื้อขายในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย โดยศึกษาจากตํารา เอกสารเผยแพร่ บทความวิจัย บทความวิชาการ และเว็ปไซต์ขององค์กรที่เกี่ยวข้อง การศึกษาดําเนินการตามลําดับ ดังนี้ 1) การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ 2) การจัดแยกประเภทข้อมูล 3) การใช้ตัวแบบหรือสูตรเพื่อคํานวณผลตอบแทนและความเสี่ยง 4) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อสรุปแนวทางการลงทุน และ 5) จัดทําเอกสารทางวิชาการใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์มีลักษณะเป็นสิทธิที่ให้กับผู้ซื้อในการซื้อหรือขายหลักทรัพย์อ้างอิง (หุ้นสามัญ) ในอนาคต ตามจํานวน ราคา ตามระยะเวลาที่ กําหนด (2) ผลตอบแทนที่ผู้ลงทุนได้รับจะอยู่ในรูปของเงินสดส่วนต่าง และหากขาดทุน ผลขาดทุนจะจํากัดเพียงต้นทุนที่จ่ายซื้อใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ สําหรับความเสี่ยงของใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์จะขึ้นอยู่กับ ราคา อายุ ผู้ออก และสภาพคล่องของใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ (3) แนวทางการลงทุนในใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ อาจสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) ศึกษาและทําความเข้าใจในใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ 2) กำหนดวัตถุประสงค์การลงทุน 3) วิเคราะห์ราคา และอัตราการใช้สิทธิ และ 4) ตัดสินใจลงทุน (4) จากการรวบรวมจัดแยก และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล จัดทําเอกสารทางวิชาการเกี่ยวกับใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ โดยมีเนื้อหา แบ่งเป็น 6 บทตามลําดับดังนี้ 1) บทนํา 2) ความรู้เบื้องต้นของใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ 3) แนวทางการลงทุนในใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ 4) ตัวแบบและปัจจัยที่มีผลกระทบต่อมูลค่าของใบสําคัญแสดงสิทธิอนุพันธ์ 5) อัตราผลตอบแทนและความเสี่ ยงของใบสําคัญแสดงสิ ทธิอนุพันธ์ และ6) บทสรุป และข้อเสนอแนะ
The purposes of this study were: (1) to study the features of derivative warrants; (2) to study the returns and the risk of derivative warrants; (3) the way of investment in derivative warrants; and (4) to arrange academic documents on derivative warrants. This study was a study of secondary data related to derivative warrants with underlying ordinary shares in SET 50 listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand by studying of texts, published documents, research articles, academic papers, and the website of the relevant. The study process was as follows: 1) collection of information on derivative warrants; 2) classification of data; 3) use of models or mathematical formula to calculate returns and risk; 4) data analysis data to summarize the way of investment; and 5) technical documentation on derivative warrants in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The results were that: (1) derivative warrants were an instrument giving the right to the buyers to buy or sell an underlying asset (common shares) in a specified number and a pre-set price at a specified time; (2) investors would receive a Cash Settlement on the last trading date (European type) In case of losing, the maximum loss is limited to the initial amount paid for the derivative warrants. Risk of derivative warrants issued would depend on the price of underlying asset, the time remaining to expiry, issuers and liquidity of a derivative warrants. (3) the way of investment in derivative warrants could be summarized as follows: 1) to study and understand the derivative warrants; 2) to place an objective of investment; 3) to appraise the price and exercise ratio; and 4) to make a decision; (4) from the data collection and data analysis, technical documentation on derivative warrants were arranged with the content divided into six chapters as follows: 1) introduction; 2) basic knowledge of derivative warrants; 3) the way of investment in derivative warrants; 4) the model and factors affecting the value of derivative warrants; 5) return and risk of derivative warrants; and 6) conclusions and recommendations.
