ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประสิทธิผลการนิเทศงานการพยาบาลของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย กับความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยและความพึงพอใจของผู้รับการนิเทศของโรงพยาบาลภูมิพลอดุลยเดช

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาประสิทธิผลการนิเทศงานการพยาบาลของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยโรงพยาบาลภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ 2) ศึกษาความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยและความพึงพอใจของผู้รับการนิเทศตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ 3) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประสิทธิผลของการนิเทศงานพยาบาล ของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยกับความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยและความพึงพอใจของผู้รับการนิเทศ ตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ โรงพยาบาลภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ประชากรเป็นพยาบาลวิชาชีพ จำนวน 510 คน ซึ่งปฏิบัติงานใน โรงพยาบาลภูมิพลอดุลยเดช เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นแบบสอบถาม ประสิทธิผลการนิเทศงานของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยโรงพยาบาลภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยและความพึงพอใจของผู้รับการนิเทศ หาค่าความเที่ยง โดยวิธีของครอนบราคา มีค่าความเที่ยง เท่ากับ .9631 .9360 และ .8926 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน (Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ประสิทธิผลการนิเทศงานการพยาบาล ของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพอยู่ในระดับสูง 2) ความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยรอยู่ในระดับสูง และความพึงพอใจของผู้รับการนิเทศอยู่ในระดับสูง 3) ประสิทธิผลการนิเทศงานการพยาบาลของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยมี ความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วยและด้านความพึงพอใจของผู้รับการนิเทศตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับปานกลาง และระดับสูง (r = .668 และ .763) ตามลำดับ

The purposes of this descriptive research were: (1) to study the supervision effectiveness of head nurses, (2) to investigate patients* safety, (3) find the level of patient satisfaction on being supervised of professional nurses, and (4) to examine the relationships between the effectiveness of supervision by head nurses and (a) patients’ safety and (b) the satisfaction on being supervised by professional nurses at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital. The population comprised 510 professional nurses who worked at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital. Three sets of questionnaires (covering supervision effectiveness, patients’ safety, and satisfaction on being supervised) were used as research tools. They were tests for reliability and validity. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficients of the first, the second, and the third sets were 0.96, 0.93, and 0.89 respectively. The statistical devices used for data analysis were both descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. The findings were as follows. (1) Professional nurses rated the effectiveness of supervision performed by their head nurses at the high level. (2) They also rated patients’ safety at the high level. (3) Moreover, they rated their satisfaction on the supervision by their head nurses at the high level. Finally, (3) there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the effectiveness of supervision by head nurses and (a) patients’ safety (p < .01, r = .66) and (b) satisfaction on being supervised (r- 0.76,p <.01).
