Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับการสนับสนุนทางสังคม การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง และการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษากลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง วิทยาลัยเทคนิคลำพูน และ 2) สร้างสมการทำนายการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษากลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง วิทยาลัยเทคนิคลำพูนกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง วิทยาลัยเทคนิคลำพูน จำนวน 100 คน ได้มาโดยใช้วิธีสุ่มอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แบบวัดการสนับสนุนทางสังคม 2) แบบวัดการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง และ 3) แบบวัดการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรม มีค่าความเที่ยงทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ .86, .85 และ .88 ตามลำดับ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แค่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า 1) การสนับสนุนทางสังคม การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง และการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษากลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง วิทยาลัยเทคนิคลำพูน มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก และ 2) การสนับสนุนทางสังคม (X1) และการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง (X2) ส่งอิทธิพลต่อการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 สามารถร่วมกันทำนายการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมได้ร้อยละ 54 และเขียนสมการทำนายการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมโดยใช้คะแนนมาตรฐาน คือ Z¢ = 0.55X2 + 0.25X1
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of social support, self-esteem and cultural adaptation of ethnic students of the High Vocational Certificate Program in the Lamphun Technical College; and 2) to create a prediction equation for the cultural adaptation of ethnic students at the High Vocational Certificate Program in the Lamphun Technical College.The research sample consisted of 100 ethnic students studying at the High Vocational Certificate Program in Lamphun Technical College, all of whom were obtained by simple random sampling. The research instruments employed were 1) a scale to assess social support, 2) a scale to assess self-esteem, and 3) a scale to assess cultural adaptation, with reliability coefficients of .86, .85 and .88, respectively. Statistics employed for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.Research findings revealed that 1) the mean ratings of social support, self-esteem, and cultural adaptation among ethnic students at the High Vocational Certificate Program in Lamphun Technical College were at a high level; and 2) social support (X1) and self-esteem (X2) had a significant influence on cultural adaptation at the.01 level of statistical significance and could be used to predict cultural adaptation at 54 percent; and The predicting equation for cultural adaptation in the form of a standard score was as shown below: Z¢ = 0.55X2 + 0.25X1
