Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ข้อมูลทัวไปของเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตมันสำปะหลัง2) สภาพการผลิตมันสำปะหลังของเกษตรกร 3) ปัญหาด้านการผลิตมันสำปะหลังของเกษตรกร 4) ความต้องการการส่งเสริมการผลิตมันสำปะหลังของเกษตรกร 5) แนวทางการส่งเสริมการผลิตมันสำปะหลังของเกษตรกร ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) เกษตรกรมากกว่าครึ่งเป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุเฉลี่ย 51.33 ปี จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ส่วนใหญ่เป็นสมาชิกธนาคารเพื่อการเกษตรและสหกรณ์การเกษตร (ธ.ก.ส.) จำนวนแรงงานผลิตมันสำปะหลังเฉลี่ย 2.66 คน พื้นที่ผลิตมันสำปะหลังเฉลี่ย 21.16 ไร่ ผลผลิตมันสำปะหลังต่อไร่เฉลี่ย 2,585.80 กิโลกรัมต้นทุนการผลิตมันสำปะหลังต่อไร่เฉลี่ย 4,890.40 บาท มีประสบการณ์ในการผลิตมันสำปะหลังเฉลี่ย 13.28 ปี 2) โรคและแมลงศัตรูพืชที่พบในการผลิตมันสำปะหลังมากกว่าครึ่ง คือโรครากหรือหัวเน่า และเพลี้ยแป้งสีชมพูเกษตรกรมีการปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำของกรมส่งเสริมการเกษตรในระดับมากที่สุดในประเด็น เลือกต้นพันธุ์สดใหม่ท่อนพันธุ์มีอายุ 8 - 12 เดือน ตัดท่อนพันธุ์ยาว 20 - 25 เซนติเมตร แช่ท่อนพันธุ์ด้วยสารเคมีเพื่อป้องกันเพลี้ยแป้งสีชมพู วิธีการปลูกปลูกแบบปักท่อนพันธุ์ตัดตรง ปลูกช่วงเดือนเมษายน - มิถุนายน หรือ เดือนกันยายน - พฤศจิกายนมีการใช้สารเคมีในการป้องกันกำจัดเพลี้ยแป้งสีชมพู ตามอัตราและระยะเวลาที่กำหนด กำจัดวัชพืชอย่างน้อย 2 ครั้ง เก็บเกี่ยวมันสำปะหลังเมื่ออายุ 10 - 12 เดือน โดยใช้แรงงานคนในการเก็บเกี่ยว และนำผลผลิตจำหน่ายทันที3) เกษตรกรมีปัญหาในการผลิตมันสำปะหลังมากที่สุด ในประเด็นความผันผวนของราคาผลผลิต และการกดราคาของพ่อค้าคนกลาง 4) เกษตรกรมีความต้องการความรู้ในระดับมากที่สุดในประเด็นการป้องกันกำจัดโรคพืชและแมลงศัตรูพืช มีความต้องการช่องทางการส่งเสริมในภาพรวมในระดับมากที่สุดผ่านทางสื่อบุคคลราชการต้องการวิธีการส่งเสริมในภาพรวมในระดับมากในรูปแบบการสาธิต ฝึกปฏิบัติ การบรรยาย และแปลงเรียนรู้ 5) แนวทางการส่งเสริมการผลิตมันสำปะหลังคือ เจ้าหน้าที่จากหน่วยงานราชการ ให้การสนับสนุนด้านทักษะด้านวิชาการความรู้ผ่านช่องทางการส่งเสริมที่เหมาะสมให้แก่เกษตรกร
The objectives of this research were to study 1) general information of cassava production farmers 2) cassava production conditions of farmers 3) problems in cassava production of farmers 4) extension needs in cassava production of farmers 5) extension guidelines in cassava production of farmers. The population in this study was 961 farmers who had registered as cassava production farmers with Thali agricultural office in Loei district in the production year 2018/2019 in the area of Namcam sub - district, Thali district, Loei province. The sample size of 169 people was determined by using simple random sampling method. Tool that was used was interview form. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, minimum value, maximum value, standard deviation, and ranking. The results of the research found out that 1) more than half of the farmers were female with the average age of 51.33 years old, and completed primary school education. Most of them were members of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC). The average amount of labor in cassava production was 2.66 people, the average cassava production area was 21.16 Rai, the average cassava productivity per Rai was 2,585.80 kilogram, the average cassava production cost/Rai was 4,890.40 Baht, and the average experience in cassava production was 13.28 years. 2) More than half of diseases and pest in cassava production were Root and Tuber Rot diseases and pink mealybug. Farmers practiced according to the recommendation of the department of agricultural extension at the highest level in the aspect of new seedling selection at the age of 8-12 months cutting with the length of 20-25 centimeters and soaking it with chemicals to prevent pink mealybug. The planting method was planting the direct cutting seedlings during the month of April-June or September-November. The chemicals used to prevent pink mealybug according to pre-determined ratio and time period, controlled the weed at least 2 times, harvested cassava at the age of 10-12 months by using human labor in the harvest and immediately sold the products. 3) Farmers faced with the most problematic problems in cassava production were in the aspect of product price fluctuation and the undersell method of the middlemen. 4) Farmers wanted the knowledge at the highest level in the aspect of disease and pest control. They wanted the extension channels, overall, at the highest level through public individual media. They wanted the extension method, overall, at the high level in the forms of demonstration, practice, lecture, and learning crop. 5 ) Extension guidelines in cassava production were the officers from public agencies giving support regarding skills and academic knowledge through appropriate extension channel to farmers.
