Abstract
การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพัฒนา มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อ ติดตามความก้าวหน้าในการจัดทำาดุษฎีนิพนธ์ วิทยานิพนธ์ และการศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระของนักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา แขนงวิชาสารสนเทศศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช โดยมีกลุ่มผู้ใช้งาน จำนวน 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ เจ้าหน้าที่เลขานุการกิจ เป็นผู้ดูแลระบบ อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาหลัก และนักศึกษาระบบครอบคลุมส่วนนำเข้าข้อมูล ส่วนประมวลผล ส่วนแสดงผลลัพธ์ และส่วนรักษาความปลอดภัย วิธีการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศใช้วิธีวงจรพัฒนาระบบ เริ่มต้นจากการศึกษาความต้องการใช้ระบบเบื้องต้นด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มตัวอยาง ได้แก่ เจ้าหน้าที่เลขานุการกิจ อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาหลัก และนักศึกษา การวิเคราะห์ระบบ การออกแบบระบบ การพัฒนาระบบ การทดสอบ และประเมินระบบ สำหรับเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาระบบ ได้แก่ โปรแกรม Apache ระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูล MySQL โปรแกรม Macromedia Dreamweaver และภาษาที่ใช้ในการเขียนโปรแกรม ได้แก่ โปรแกรมภาษา PHP ส่วนเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการประเมินระบบ คือ แบบสอบถาม เพื่อสำรวจความพึงพอใจของกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นผู้ใช้งานระบบ ผลการวิจัยนี้พบว่า ระบบสารสนเทศสามารถบันทึก แก้ไข ค้นหาข้อมูล และเรียกดูรายงานติดตามความก้าวหน้า ในการจัดทำดุษฎีนิพนธ์ วิทยานิพนธ์ และการศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระของนักศึกษาได้ ส่วนการประเมินระบบพบว่า ผู้ใช้มีความพึงพอใจด้านภาพรวมของระบบ ด้านส่วนประสานงานกับผู้ใช้ ด้านการนำข้อมูลเข้าสู่ระบบ ด้านการประมวลผล และด้านการแสดงผลลัพธ์ และรายงานในระดับดี
This study was research and development. The purpose of this research was to develop an information system for tracking progress on dissertations, theses and independent studies for doctoral and master’s degrees in the Information Science Program, School of Liberal Arts, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. There are 3 user groups: Office Secretary (system administrator), Advisor and Student. The system covers data input, data processing, output and security. The System Development Life Cycle methodology was used to develop the system. Analyzing basic system requirements by interviewing the sample group (Office Secretary (system administrator), Advisor and Student) was followed by system analysis,system design, system development, system testing and evaluation, system installation and finally system implementation. The system development tools used were Apache, database management system with MySQL, Macromedia Dreamweaver and the programming language PHP. The system evaluation tool used was a questionnaire to survey the satisfaction of the sample users. The results of this research are as follows. It was found that the information systems can save, edit, search and view reports for tracking the progress, management and planning of the dissertations, theses and independent studies. For system evaluation, we found that the users were satisfied with the system overview, user coordination, importing data, processing data, and results and reporting, all at a good level.
