Abstract
การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมของผู้รับบริการชาวไทยที่เดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุงเทพ -เชียงใหม่) (2) ศึกษาระดับความพึงพอใจของผู้รับบริการชาวไทยที่เดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุ งเทพ - เชียงใหม่ (3) เปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมของผู้รับบริการชาวไทยที่เดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุงเทพฯ-เชียงใหม่) จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล (4) เปรียบเทียบระดับความพึงพอใจของผู้รับบริการชวไทยที่เดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุงเทพฯ-เชียงใหม่) จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงสำรวจ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ ผู้รับบริการชาวไทยที่เดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุงเทพ-เชียงใหม่) ซึ่งไม่ทราบจำนวนประชากรที่แน่นอน จึงกำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยสูตรการคำนวณของคอร์แครน ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 384 คน โดยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างตามสะดวก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล คือแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติเชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ การทคสอบค่าที และค่าเอฟ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า (1) พฤติกรรมของผู้รับบริการชาวไทยส่วนใหญ่เดินทางโดยรับรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุงเทพฯ-เชียงใหม่) เพียง 1 ครั้งเหตุผลที่เลือกรับบริการ คือ ประหยัดค่าใช้ง่ายและเวลา แหล่งข้อมูลที่จูงใจให้ใช้บริการรถไฟ คือ ทางอินเทอร์เน็ต และปัจจัยที่ทำให้ผู้รับบริการอยากกลับมาใช้บริการ คือ ความปลอดภัยที่ผู้ใช้บริการได้รับ (2) ผู้รับบริการชาวไทยมีระดับความพึงพอใจต่อการเดินทาง โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ ด้านการปฏิบัติการของพนักงาน ด้านความปลอดภัย ด้านความเหมาะสมในการจัดตารางเวลาเดินรถ ด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และด้านบริการรถไฟ ตามลำดับ (3) ผู้รับบริการชาวไทยที่มีเพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน ต่างกัน มีพฤติกรรมในการเดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุงเทพฯ-เชียงใหม่) ได้แก่ ด้านความถี่ในการเดินทาง สาหตุในการเลือกใช้บริการ แหล่งข้อมูลที่จูงใจให้อยากใช้บริการ การกลับมาใช้บริการ และปัจจัยที่ทำให้อยากกลับมาใช้บริการแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และ(4) ผู้รับบริการชาวไทยที่มีเพศอายุ สถานภาพสมรส ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ และรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือนต่างกัน มีระดับความพึงพอใจต่อการเดินทางโดยรถไฟสายเหนือ (กรุ งเทพฯ-เชียงใหม่ ได้แก่ ด้านบริการรถไฟ ด้านการปฏิบัติการของพนักงาน ด้านความปลอดภัย ด้านความหมาะสมในการจัดตารางเวลาเดินรถ ด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และด้านโครงสร้างและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกของสถานีกรุงเทพ ฯ แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
The objectives of this research were: (1) to study Thai passengers’ behaviors who travelled by the northern route train (Bangkok - Chiang Mai); (2) to study the level of Thai passengers’ satisfaction with the northern route train; (3) to compare Thai passengers’ behaviors classified by personal factors; and (4) to compare the level of satisfaction of Thai passengers classified by personal factors. This was a survey research. The study population was Thai passengers who rode on the northern line of the State Railway of Thailand from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. The total population size was unknown so Cochran’s formula was used to determine the sample size, which came out to 384. Samples were chosen through convenience sampling. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. Data were analysed by descriptive statistics in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics including t test and F- test. The results showed that (1) Thai passengers rode the northern line (Bangkok-Chiang Mai) just once. Their reasons for choosing the train service were to save money and time. The source of information to choose train service was the Internet. The main factor to use the service again was the safety of train. (2) Overall, most of the passengers reported a high level of satisfaction in terms of personnel, safety, appropriateness of the schedule, having facilities of the station, and on-train service. (3) There were statistically significant differences in Passengers’ behaviors towards northern train route with different sex, age group, marital status, educational level, occupation, and monthly income in terms of frequency of travel, reason for choosing the train, source of information at 0.05. (4) Based on the significance level of 0.05, there were differences in passengers’ satisfaction with different sex, age group, marital status, education, occupation, and monthly income in terms of train service, personnel, safety, the train schedule, train facilities, and structure and facilities of the station
