Abstract
การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการจับคู่แปรงฟันต่อการลดแผ่นคราบจุลินทรีย์ในนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดน่าน และเปรียบเทียบดูความแตกต่างของค่าเคลี่ยคราบจุลินทรีย์ระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมหลังการดำเนินการ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนจุมปีวนิดาภรณ์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดน่าน จำนวน 2 ห้อง ได้แก่ ห้องประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5/1 จำนวน 26 คน กำหนดเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและห้องประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5/2 จำนวน 27 คน กำหนดเป็นกลุ่มควบคุม โดยกลุ่มทดลองจะได้รับโปรแกรมการจับคู่แปรงฟันหลังอาหารกลางวัน ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมการแปรงฟันหลังอาหารกลางวันที่โรงเรียนที่มีการจับคู่ระหว่างเพื่อนนักเรียนด้วยกันเองเพื่อดูแลซึ่งกันและกันในเรื่องการแปรงฟันและสามารถตรวจความสะอาดช่องปากหลังการแปรงฟันให้แก่กันและกันได้ ทั้งนี้ในการทดลองได้ทำการตรวจคราบจุลินทรีย์ทั้งกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมก่อนและหลังการดำเนินการ ระยะเวลาในการดำเนินการวิจัยระหว่างเดือนกรกฎาคมถึงสิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2561 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ การทดสอบลำดับที่โดยเครื่องหมายของวิลค็อกซัน และการทดสอบแมนน์-วิตนีย์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าโปรแกรมการจับคู่แปรงฟันสามารถลดแผ่นคราบจุลินทรีย์ในนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดน่านได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) และเมื่อเปรียบเทียบดูความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยคราบจุลินทรีย์ระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมหลังการทดลองพบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยคราบจุลินทรีย์ของกลุ่มทดลองมีค่าน้อยกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05)
The purpose of this quasi-experimental research was to study the effect of Partner Brushing Program on dental plaque reduction among grade five students, Mueang Nan District, Nan Province. This study compared the plaque index between the experimental group and the control group after the program. The population studied was grade five students, Jumpeewanidaporn School including the room 5/1(26person), which was designed as an experimental group and the room 5/2(27person) , which was designated as a control group. Partner Brushing Program was conducted in the experimental group. The dental plaque would examined in both the experimental group and the control group, before and after the experiment. The period of the research is from July to August 2018. The statistical methods for data analysis were Wilcoxon Sign-Rank test and Mann-Whitney U test. The results of this study showed that after the experiment, the experimental group decreased their plaque index from before the experiment at 0.05 level of statistical significance and when compared to the control group after the experiment, it was found that the plaque index of the experimental group were significantly lower than the control group. (p < 0.05)
