Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์ 1) การนำความรู้ทางโหราศาสตร์มาใช้ประกอบการวินิจฉัยโรคตามหลักการแพทย์แผนไทย และ 2) การนำความรู้ทางโหราศาสตร์มาใช้ประกอบการรักษาโรคตามหลักการแพทย์แผนไทยงานวิจัยนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เก็บข้อมูลจากเอกสารประเภทตำราโหราศาสตร์ และตำราการแพทย์แผนไทย และกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีอาชีพนักพยากรณ์ จำนวน 3 คน และแพทย์แผนไทย จำนวน 3 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น จำนวน 6 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในงานวิจัยนี้ ประกอบด้วย แบบบันทึกข้อมูล และแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่มีโครงสร้าง โดยนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยแบบพรรณาวิเคราะห์ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) การนำความรู้ทางโหราศาสตร์มาใช้ประกอบการวินิจฉัยโรค ประกอบด้วย ก) จักรราศี เป็นการวินิจฉัยโรคเพื่อให้ทราบส่วนของร่างกายที่เกิดโรค ซึ่งมีส่วนสัมพันธ์กับราศีเกิด ข) หัตถศาสตร์ เป็นการวินิจฉัยโรคโดยบอกให้ทราบทั้งอาการของโรค และแนวโน้มของโรค ที่อาจเกิดกับเจ้าของลายมือ และ ค) เลข 7 ตัว เป็นการวินิจฉัยโรคโดยอาศัยข้อมูล วัน เดือน ปี เกิด ของผู้ป่วย ซึ่งจะบอกให้ทราบทั้งโรคทั่วไปและโรคเรื้อรัง และ 2) การนำความรู้ทางโหราศาสตร์มาใช้ประกอบการรักษาโรคตามหลักการแพทย์แผนไทย ผู้วิจัยพบว่าแพทย์แผนไทยให้ ความสำคัญกับ สมุฏฐานหรือที่ตั้งแรกเกิดของโรคเป็นหลักในการรักษา ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย ก) การรักษาตามธาตุ โดยพิจารณารักษาตามธาตุที่แตกและพิการ เพื่อให้หายจากอาการป่วย ข) การรักษาตามธาตุเจ้าเรือน เป็นการรักษาและป้องกันโดยใช้รสยาและอาหารประจำธาตุ ค) การรักษาโรคประจำฤดู เป็นการรักษาด้วยตำรับยาประจำฤดู อาทิ ในฤดูฝน เกิดจากวาโยธาตุพิการ ทำให้ผอมเหลือง ปวดเมื่อยร่างกาย วิงเวียนศีรษะ เป็นลม ร้อนในอก ให้แกด้วยยาชื่อ ฤทธิจร หรือรักษาด้วยรสยา โดยใช้ยาสมุนไพรรสเผ็ด รสร้อน และรสสุขุม ส่วนในฤดูอื่นก็รักษาด้วยยาตำรับและรสยาที่สัมพันธ์ในฤดูนั้น และ ง) การรักษาโรคตามอายุ และตามกาลเวลาเป็นการรักษาตามอาการของโรคที่เกิดขึ้นตามอายุ
และช่วงเวลาในวันหนึ่ง
The objectives of this research were to study and analyze: 1) the application of astrology in the diagnosis of diseases under the principles of traditional Thai medicine; and 2) the application of astrology in the treatment of diseases under the principles of traditional Thai medicine. This was a qualitative research based on data from astrology textbooks, traditional Thai medicine textbooks, and interviews with 6 key informants who worked as astrologers and traditional Thai medicine practitioners. The research tools consisted of data recording forms and unstructured interview forms. The data were presented through descriptive analysis. The results showed that 1)the application of astrology in disease diagnosis consisted of a) Jakrasee or zodiac wheel, a way to determine which part of the body was affected based on the patient’s zodiac sign; b) palm reading, a way to divine the symptoms and progression of the disease based on lines on the patient’s hand; and c) Local Astrology numerology, a way to tell what chronic conditions and general diseases a patient mighthave based on the day, month and year of his or her birth. 2) In the treatment of diseases, the researcher found that traditional Thai medicine puts emphasis on the origin of diseases and employs the following methods a) treatment according to the elements, treating the elements in the patient that were deemed to be deficient or broken; b) treatment according to Thad JaoReun or “bodily elements,” which entails disease treatment and prevention by prescribing medicines or foods that correspond to certain elements; c) seasonal therapy, prescribing medications based on the seasons, for instance, during the rainy season most patients suffer symptoms caused by deficiency in the air element, such as anemia, wasting, body aches, dizziness, and burning sensation in the chest, so the treatment would be Reutijorn medicine or herbs that have a hot, spicy, or “prudent” flavor or activity; during other seasons other medicines or herbs appropriate to that season would be administered; and d) treatment according to time and age, meaning the treatment depended on the patient’s age and the time of day the illness began.
