Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค(เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาเหตุจูงใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรหลาน
เข้าเรียนระดับปฐมวัย ในโรงเรียนเทศบาลวัดกิตติสังฆาราม จังหวัดภูเก็ต และ (2) เปรียบเทียบเหตุจูงใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนระดับปฐมวัย จำแนกตามภูมิหลังของผู้ปกครองกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนระดับปฐมวัยปีที่ 1-3 ของโรงเรียนเทศบาลวัดกิตติสังฆาราม ในปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 163 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามแบบมาตรประมาณค่า มีควาความเที่ยง เท่ากับ .96 สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห(ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห(ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว กำหนดระดับนัยสำคัญของการทดสอบสมมติฐานที่ระดับ .05 ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) เหตุจูงใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนระดับปฐมวัย ในโรงเรียนเทศบาลวัดกิตติสังฆาราม จังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยภาพรวมและทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก ทั้งนี้ด้านที่เป็นเหตุจูงใจจากระดับมากไปน้อย ได้แก่ เกียรติภูมิ และชื่อเสียงของโรงเรียน แนวทางการจัดการศึกษาของโรงเรียน คุณภาพของครู สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและบริการ และ อาคารสถานที่และ สิ่งแวดล้อม และ(2) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบเหตุจูงใจในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนระดับปฐมวัยของ
ผู้ปกครองที่มีภูมิหลังแตกต่างกันตามรายได้และระดับการศึกษา พบว่า มีเหตุจูงใจไม่แตกต่างกัน
The purposes of this research were (1) to study the motivation of parents for enrolling young children in kindergarten level at Wat Kittisangkharam Municipal School in Phuket province; and (2) to compare the levels of motivation of parents for enrolling young children in kindergarten level, as classified by parents’ income and educational level. The sample consisted of 163 parents of students in the 1st – 3rd year kindergarten levels of Wat Kittisangkharam Municipal School in the academic year 2014. The employed research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire developed by the researcher, with reliability coefficient of .96. Statistics employed in data analysis were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA. The .05 level of statistical significance was predetermined for hypothesis testing. The research findings were as follows: (1) the parents’ overall motivation for enrolling young children in kindergarten level at Wat Kittisangkharam Municipal School in Phuket Province was at the high level, with aspect rating means being ranked from high to low based on the motivation level for each of the following aspects: prestige and reputation of school, management approach of school, quality of teachers, school facilities and services, and buildings and environment, respectively; and (2) as for comparison results of motivation for enrolling young children in kindergarten level of parents as classified by parents’ income and educational level, no significant difference was found.
