Abstract
การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) วิเคราะห์ผลการดำเนินงานและฐานะทางการเงินของสหกรณ์ ออมทรัพย์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จำกัด โดยการวิเคราะห์อัตราส่วนทางการเงิน (2) วิเคราะห์ผลการดำเนินงานและฐานะทางการเงินของสหกรณ์ออมทรัพย์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จำกัด โดยเทคนิค CAMELS การศึกษาในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ศึกษาจากข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ ซึ่งได้แก่ งบการเงิน ระหว่าง ปี 2551 ถึง ปี 2555 และรายงานการประชุมของสหกรณ์ออมทรัพย์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จำกัด เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในวิเคราะห์ คือ อัตราส่วนทางการเงิน และเทกนิด CAMELS สถิติที่ใช้คือ ค่าร้อยละ และค่าเฉลี่ย ผลการศึกษา พบว่า (1) ผลการดำเนินงานและฐานะทางการเงิน วิเคราะห์ โดยอัตราส่วนทางการเงิน พบว่า 1) สหกรณ์มีสภาพคล่องทางการเงินลดต่ำลง 2) การบริหารสินทรัพย์ไม่มีประสิทธิภาพเท่าที่ควร 3) ทุนดำเนินงานส่วนใหญ่มาจากหนี้สิน ซึ่งได้แก่ เงินฝาก 4) สหกรณ์มีความสามารถในการทำกำไรค่อนข้างคงที่ มีการลงทุนในสินทรัพย์มาก 5) ความสามารถในการ ให้บริการ แก่สมาชิกค่อนข้างดี สมาชิกออมเงินและกู้ยืมเงินได้เพิ่มขึ้น และ 6) ประสิทธิภาพในการทำกำไรต่อหุ้น พบว่า มีความสามารถในการทำกำไรค่อนข้างคงที่ (2) ผลการดำเนินงานและฐานะทางการเงิน วิเคราะห์ โดย เทคนิค CAMELS พบว่า1) ด้านความเพียงพอของเงินทุน สหกรณ์ใช้เงินทุนส่วนใหญ่มาจากหนี้สิน จึงมีความเสี่ยงค่อนข้างสูง 2) ด้านคุณภาพของสินทรัพย์ สหกรณ์มีสินทรัพย์เพิ่มขึ้น และการลงทุนในสินทรัพย์ไม่มีประสิทธิภาพเท่าที่ควร 3) ด้านการบริหารจัดการ สหกรณ์มีอัตราการเติบโตของธุรกิจที่ดี มีจำนวนสมาชิก สินทรัพย์และหนี้สินเพิ่มขึ้น 4) ด้านการทำกำไร สหกรณ์มีความสามารถในการทำกำไรดี อัตรากำไรสุทธิก่อนข้างสูง และสมาชิกได้รับผลตอบแทนค่อนข้างสูง 5) ด้านสภาพคล่องสหกรณ์มีสภาพคล่องทางการเงินลดลง และ (6) ด้านผลกระทบของธุรกิจ พบว่า เสถียรภาพทางการเมืองเทคโนโลยี คู่แข่งทางธุรกิจ และภัยธรรมชาติ ล้วนมีผลกระทบต่อการกำหนดนโยบายการบริหารงานของสหกรณ์
This independent study had the objectives (1) to analyze the performance and financial status of Mahidol University Savings and Credit Co-operative Limited using the financial ratio, and (2) to analyze the performance and financial status of Mahidol University Saving and Credit Co-operative Limited using the CAMELS technique. This quantitative study was conducted based on the secondary data i.e. the financial statements during 2008-2012 and the meeting report of Mahidol University Saving and Credit Co-operative Limited. The research instruments were the financial ratio and the CAMELS technique. The statistics of percentage and mean were used. The study results were as follows: (1) the performance and financial status, analyzed by the financial ratio, indicated the following results: 1) the financial liquidity of the Co-operative was decreased; 2) the asset management of the Co-operative seemed to be inefficient; 3) most of the working capitals were derived from the debts such as deposits; 4) the profitability of the Co-operative was quite constant with the high asset investments; 5) the services provided by the Co-operative for its members were quite good whereas the members could save and borrow more money; and 6) the profitability per share of the Co-operative was quite constant. (2) The performance and financial status, analyzed by the CAMELS technique, indicated the following results: 1) concerning the sufficiency of capitals, the Co-operative was risky as most of its capitals were derived from debts; 2) in terms of the asset quality, the Co-operative gained more asset but its asset investment was not efficient; 3) relating to the management, the business growth of the Co-operative was good with higher amounts of members ,asset and debts; 4) concerning the profitability, the profitability of the Co-operative was good with the high rate of net profit whereas its members were highly paid; 5) in terms of the liquidity, the financial liquidity of the Co-operative was decreased; and 6) regarding the business impact, it was found that the political stability, technology, business competitors, and natural disasters influenced the policy making of the Co-operative.
