Abstract
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสมาชิกสหกรณ์การเกษตรวังน้ำเย็น จำกัด เกี่ยวกับ 1) สภาพทั่วไปของสมาชิก 2) ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกในการดำเนินธุรกิจ 3) เปรียบเทียบการมี ส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกในการดำเนินธุรกิจ และ 4) ปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกในการ ดำเนินธุรกิจของสหกรณ์ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ สมาชิกสหกรณ์การเกษตรวังน้ำเย็น จำกัด จำนวน 727 คน กำหนดขนาดตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรของ Taro Yamane ได้ จำนวน 258 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่า ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบ ค่าที และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) สมาชิกสหกรณ์ส่วนใหญ่เป็น เพศชาย อายุระหว่าง 31 – 40 ปี สำเร็จ การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา มีรายได้ 5,001 - 8,000 บาท ระยะเวลาเป็นสมาชิก 6 – 10 ปี รับรู้ข่าวสาร เกี่ยวกับสหกรณ์จากเจ้าหน้าที่สหกรณ์มากที่สุด และความถี่ในการรับข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับสหกรณ์จากแหล่ง ต่างๆ เป็นบางครั้ง 2) ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสหกรณ์ อยู่ในระดับปาน กลางทั้ง 4 ด้าน ได้แก่ การมีส่วนร่วมในการตัดสินใจ การดำเนินงาน ผลประโยชน์และการควบคุม ตรวจสอบ 3) การเปรียบเทียบระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสหกรณ์ พบว่า แตกต่างกันเมื่อ รายได้ ระดับการศึกษา และการรับรู้ข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับสหกรณ์ แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 ส่วนระดับการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกในการดำเนินธุรกิจสหกรณ์ จำแนกตามเพศ อายุ และ ระยะเวลาการเป็นสมาชิกที่แตกต่างกัน ไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 4) ปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่ เกี่ยวข้องกับการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ ได้แก่ การเดินทางไม่สะดวก การให้บริการของ คณะกรรมการ เจ้าหน้าที่ และสินค้าหรือบริการของสหกรณ์ไม่ตรงกับความต้องการ สหกรณ์มีธุรกิจ ให้บริการแก่สมาชิกไม่ครบถ้วนตามความต้องการของสมาชิก การมีส่วนร่วมไม่เกิดประโยชน์โดยตรง กับสมาชิก และสมาชิกไม่มีเวลาเข้าร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสหกรณ์
The objectives of this research were to study the members of cooperatives in the following matters: 1) general backgrounds of the members, 2) the participatory level of the members in cooperatives’ business operations, 3) the group comparisons of the members’ participation in the cooperatives’ business operations; and 4) problems and obstacles of members’ participation in the cooperatives’ business operations. The population of this study consisted of 727 members of Wang Nam Yen Agricultural Cooperatives in Sa Kaeo Province. The samples were comprised of 258 members randomly selected by using Taro Yamane formula. Data were collected by using a questionnaire and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and analysis of variance were used for data analysis. The results showed that 1) the majority of cooperatives’ members were male, in the 31-40 years age range, finished primary education level with income of 5,001-8,000 baht a month. Most of them had been a member of the cooperatives for 6 – 10 years. The majority of them reported that they received news and information about the cooperatives mainly from cooperatives personnel and from time to time and from other sources occasionally. 2) The cooperatives’ members had a medium level of participation in all four aspects of the cooperatives’ operations, i.e. decision making, business operations, benefits, and monitoring/auditing. 3) A comparison of members’ personal factors with their level of participation in the cooperatives’ business found that there were a statistically significant differences (p<0.01) between the factors of the members’ income, educational level, and reception of news and information about the cooperatives, . In contrast, there was no statistically significant difference between the factors of the members’ sex, age, and number of years of membership in the cooperatives and their level of participation in the cooperatives’ operations. 4) The problems and obstacles of members’ participation in the cooperatives were the difficulty in traveling to the cooperatives, inadequate services provided by cooperatives’ personnel or the management committee, and a lack of desired services, no matching of the range of goods/services offering and the needs of the members, no obvious benefit from member participation, and lack of time for joining in the cooperative’s operations.
