ผลของการให้การปรึกษาแบบรายบุคคลที่มีต่อการเสริมสร้างความสุขในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมหลังผ่าตัดเต้านมออก

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความสุขของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมหลัง ผ่าตัดเต้านมออก ก่อนและหลังการให้การปรึกษาแบบรายบุคคล และ (2) เปรียบเทียบความสุขของ ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมหลังผ่าตัดเต้านมออกของกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม หลังการทดลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นผู้ป่วยหญิงที่ีมารับการรักษาผ่าตัดเต้านมออกแผนก ผู้ป่วยใน จำนวน 16 คน ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง จากนั้นสุ่มอย่างง่ายเพื่อแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มทดลอง และกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 8 คน ดำเนินการทดลองจำนวน 8 ครั้ง ครั้งละ 50 นาที รวม ทั้งหมด 64 ครั้ง เครื่องมือที่ีใช้ได้แก่ แบบวัดความสุขของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมหลังผ่าตัดเต้านมออก และโปรแกรมการให้การปรึกษาเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสุข ซึ่งมีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .88 สถิติที่ีใช้ใน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือการทดสอบแมนวิทนีย์ และการทดสอบวิลคอกซัน ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมหลังผ่าตัดเต้านมออกมีคะแนนความสุข เพิ่มขึ้นภายหลังการให้การปรึกษาแบบรายบุคคล อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .D5 และ (2) ผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งเต้านมหลังผ่าตัดเต้านมออกในกลุ่มทดลองที่ได้รับการให้การปรึกษาแบบ รายบุคคล มีคะแนนความสุขเพิ่มขึ้นมากกว่าของผู้ป่วยในกลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .D5

The objectives of this research were (1) to compare happiness scores of breast cancer patients after mastectomy before and after receiving individual counseling; (2) to compare the post-experiment happiness scores of the experimental and control group breast cancer patients after mastectomy. The research sample consisted of 16 purposively selected breast cancer patients after mastectomy from the In-patient Department. Then, they were randomly divided into 2 groups: an experimental group and a control group each of which consisting of eight patients. Each of the experimental group patients received individual counseling for 8 sessions each of which lasted for 50 minutes, thus the total number of individual counseling was 64 sessions. The employed instruments were a scale to assess happiness level for breast cancer patients after mastectomy, with the Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of .88; and an individual counseling program to enhance happiness. Statistical procedures for data analysis were the Mann-Whitney U Test and the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Signed Ranks Test. Research findings revealed that (1) after receiving individual counseling, the post-mastectomy breast cancer patients’ happiness scores increased at the .05 level of statistical significance; and (2) the post-experiment happiness scores of the experimental group post-mastectomy breast cancer patients who received individual counseling increased more than the post-experiment counterpart scores of the control group patients at the .05 level of statistical significance.
