แรงจูงใจในการทำงานของบุคลากรรุ่นเจเนอเรชันวายของบริษัท เอสจีเอส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาระดับแรงจูงใจในการทำงานของบุคลากร กลุ่มเจเนอเรชันวาย ของบริษัท เอสจีเอส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ตามทฤษฎี ERG ของอัลเดอร์เฟอร์ (2) เปรียบเทียบแรงจูงใจที่มีต่อบุคลากรรุ่นเจเนอเรชันวายที่ทำงานภายในบริษัท เอสจีเอส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลและลักษณะงาน ประชากร คือ บุคลากรรุ่นเจเนอเรชันวายของบริษัท เอสจีเอส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด รวม 480 คน ทำการสุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการทาโร่ยามาเน่ ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 218 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาใช้แบบสอบถาม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าสถิติ คือค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบแบบที วิเคราะห์ค่าความแปรปรวนทางเดียว ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ระดับแรงจูงใจของบุคลากรรุ่นเจเนอเรชันวายของบริษัท เอสจี- เอส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด มีค่าเฉลี่ยรวมอยูในระดับสูง ผลการวิเคราะห์แรงจูงใจเมื่อแบ่งเป็น 3 ด้าน ตามทฤษฎี ERG พบว่าด้านความต้องการความสัมพันธ์มีค่าเฉลี่ยโดยรวมสูงสุด รองลงมาคือด้าน ความต้องการการกาวหน้าและเติบโต และด้านความต้องการดำรงชีวิตอยู่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยูในระดับต่ำที่สุด (2) ศึกษาแรงจูงใจเปรียบเทียบตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลพบว่า ระดับรายได้ต่อเดือน สถานภาพ สมรส อายุการทำงานที่ทำในปัจจุบัน ตำแหน่งงาน และลักษณะงานที่ปฏิบัติ มีความสัมพันธ์กับแรงจูงใจอยางมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05

The objectives of this study were (1) to study the level of motivation of Generation Y’s employees of SGS (Thailand) Co.Ltd. by ERG theory of Alderfer, and (2) to compare motivation affecting the generation Y employees at SGS (Thailand) Co.Ltd. classified by personal factors and work characteristics. The population was 480 generation Y employees of SGS (Thailand) Co.Ltd., selected by random sampling by Taro Yamane's method, yielding 218 sampling. The study tool was questionnaire. The statistics employed for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard division, t-test and one- way ANOVA. Research findings were as follows: (1) the overall motivation of generation Y employees of SGS (Thailand) Co.Ltd. was at a high level. The analysis results of motivation were divided into three areas based on the motivation theory, the ERG, revealed that need for relationship was overall at a high level. The second is the need to advance and grow, followed by need for advancement and growth and for living one's life,which were at the lowest average levels; (2) the comparing results of motivation based on personal factors showed that monthly income level, marital status, number of year of working at the current job, working position, and work characteristics were significantly correlated with work motivation at 0.05 level.
