Abstract
การศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ต้นทุนและผลตอบแทนของการประกอบกิจการโทร ทัศน์แบบภาคพื้นดินระบบติจิตอล (2) วิเคราะห์ความคุ้มค่าในการลงทุนของการประกอบกิจการโทรทัศน์แบบภาคพื้นดินระบบดิจิตอลผู้ศึกษาได้รวบรวมข้อมูลจากงบการเงินและรายงานประจำปี 2557 ของบริษัทเวิร์คพอยท์
เอ็นเทอร์เทนเมนท์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ประกอบกับการสอบถามจากเจ้าหน้ที่นักลงทุนสัมพันธ์ของบริษัทฯการวัดผลตอบแทนจากกรลงทุนจะแสดงในรูปของกำไรสุทธิและกระแสเงินสดรับสุทธิลดระยะเวลาดำเนินโครงการ 15 ปี และประเมินความคุ้มค่าในการลงทุน โดยใช้เครื่องมือในการวิเกราะห์ ได้แก่ ระยะเวลาคืนทุน มูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิของโครงการ และอัตราผลตอบแทนภายในของโครงการผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ต้นทุน ของการประกอบกิจการ โทรทัศน์แบบภาคพื้นดินระบบดิจิตอลประกอบด้วยค่าใช้จ่ายในการลงทุนรวมทั้งหมด 2,925.0 ล้านบาท และค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินงานรวมทั้งหมด 39,552.0 ล้าน ในส่วนของผลตอบแทน บริษัทฯมีรายได้จากการขายเวลาโฆษณารวมทั้งหมด 46,578.6 ล้นบาท และมีกำไรสุทธิของโครงการรวมตลอดระยะเวลา 15 ปี จำนวน 2,826.7 ล้านบาท คิดเป็นอัตรากำไรสุทธิได้เท่ากับ 6.07 % (2)เมื่อประเมินความคุ้มค่าในการลงทุนพบว่า ระยะเวลาคืนทุนของโครงการมีค่าเท่ากับ 9.02 ปี โครงการมีความคุ้มค่าในการลงทุนเนื่องจากมูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิของโครงการ ณ อัตราคิดลด 12.0% เท่ากับ 88.0 ล้านบาท มีค่ามากกว่าศูนย์ และอัตราผลตอบแทนภายในของโครงการเท่ากับ 12.77ข ซึ่งมีต่ำมากกว่าต้นทุบเงินทุนถัวเฉลี่ยถ่วงน้ำหนักของบริษัทฯที่ 12.0% สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ความไวต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโครงการ โดยการเปลี่ยนแปลงข้อมูลรายได้ในแต่ละปีให้ลดลง5% 10% จากกรณีฐาน และเปลี่ยนแปลงข้อมูลค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินงานในแต่ละปีให้เพิ่มขึ้น 5% 10% จากกรณี ฐาน พบว่าโครงการมีความไวต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงมากทั้งทางด้านรายได้และค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินงาน ซึ่งทำให้โครงการลงทุนประกอบกิจการ โทรทัศน์แบบภาคพื้นดินระบบดิจิตอลนี้มีความเสี่ยงในการลงทุนที่ค่อนข้างสูงมาก
The objectives of the study were (1) to study costs and benefits of Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial Television; and (2) to analyze the value of the investment on Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial Television. The data was collected from financial statements and an annual report 2014 of Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited including an interview of investor relations and the return of investment in terms of net profit and net cash flow for 15 years. The payback period, net present value of the projects, and the internal rate of return were used for the value of investment assessment. The results showed that (1) the costs of Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial Television consisted of 2,925 million baht for investment and 39,552 million baht for operating cost. While the revenue of the company was 46,578.6 million baht from advertising. The net profit of the project during 15 years was 2,826.7 million baht which was 6.07 percent of net margin; and (2) the payback period of the project was 9.02 years. The project was valuable for investment because the net present value at discount rate 12 percent was 88 million baht which was higher than zero. Moreover, the internal rate of return at 12.77 percent was higher than the weighted average cost of capital at 12 percent. By reducing 5% and 10% of revenue each year and increasing 5% and 10% of operating cost each year of the sensitivity analysis were found that the project was highly sensitive to the change of revenue and operating cost so that the investment of Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial Television was high rick
