Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการของป่วยใน โรงพยาบาลเมโย (2) ศึกษาหาความสัมพันธ์ของปัจจัยด้านประชากรของผู้ป่วยใน และภายนอกของผู้ป่วยใน ที่จะมีผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการ โรงพยาบาลเมโย (3) ศึกษาปัญหา อุปสรรคและข้อเสนอแนะในการมาใช้บริการ โรงพยาบาลเมโย รูปแบบการวิจัยเป็นแบบเชิงสํารวจกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยในทีมรับไว้รักษาตัวในโรงพยาบาลเมโย ระหว่างวันที่ 1 - 31 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2540 จํานวน 252 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการโรงพยาบาลที่มีค่าความเทียง 0.946 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ของเคนดัลล์ และไฮร์แมน ทดสอบที และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน โดยใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สําเร็จรูป ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ปัจจัยด้านการบริการ สถานที่ให้การบริการ กระบวนการให้บริการ บุคลากรผู้ให้บริการ เทคโนโลยี และลักษณะทางจิตวิทยา อยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนราคา การส่งเสริมการบริการลักษณะทางกายภาพการบริการ สภาวะการแข่งขัน ลักษณะทางสังคม และสภาวะทางเศรษฐกิจอยู่ในระดับกลาง (2) ปัจจัยด้านประชากรของผู้ป่วยใน ได้แก่ เพศ สภาพการเจ็บป่วยและการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับการเจ็บป่วย ความสัมพันธ์กับระดับการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการ โรงพยาบาลเมโย อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 อุปสรรค พบว่าส่วนใหญ่เป็นเรื่องราคาในด้านค่าใช้จ่ายในการรักษาด้านระยะเวลาในรอรับบริการ ความเหมาะสมของสถานที่และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกด้านความทันสมัยของเครื่องมือและอุปกรณ์ ปัญหาและอุปสรรคด้านความการรักษาโดยแพทย์ ด้านอัธยาศัยและความเป็นกันเองของแพทย์หรือเจ้าหน้าที่ ข้อเสนอแนะในการปรับปรุงโรงพยาบาล ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับการปรับค่าใช้จ่ายในการรักษา ควรมีแพทย์เฉพาะทาง การตรวจวินิจฉัยของแพทยควรให้ละเอียดและให้ข้อมูลมากขึ้น การปรับสถานที่จอดรถให้เพียงพอ เครื่องมือให้ทันสมัยกว่าเดิม และปรับปรุงพฤติกรรมการให้บริการของเจ้าหน้าที่
The purposes of this study were: (1) to study factors influencing decision in services selection of inpatient in Mayo Hospital; (2) to determine relationships between demographic factors and external factors of inpatients which influence decision making the selection of Mayo hospital service; (3) to study problems, obstacles and suggestions concerning Mayo hospital services utilization. The study design was a survey research. Study samples were purposively selected, were 252 patients admitted in Mayo hospital during March 1 -31, 2006. Data were collected by using a questionnaire with reliability coefficient of 0.946. Computer statistical program was used to calculate percentage, mean, standard deviation, In addition, Kendall’s tau-b, Spearman, t-test and content analysis were used The research findings were: (1) influencing decision in services selection of inpatients in Mayo Hospital concerning service provision, physical location of the service, service provision process, service providers technology, and psychological aspect were at high level but cost, promotion, physical characteristics of the service, competition, economic and social aspects were at moderate levels; (2) demographic factors of the patients, i.e, gender, illness conditions, and perception of illness had relationships with influencing levels of decision making in services selection of inpatient in Mayo Hospital at 0.05 level of significance; (3) most of the problem concern expense for treatment, waiting time for the service, location and accommodation, modernization of equipment and technology, treatment by doctors, courtesy of doctors or personnel. Recommendations for hospital improvement mostly concerned adjustment of expense for treatment, The hospital should have specialist doctors, doctor should provide details and more information, provide sufficient area for car parking, be equipped with more equipment, and improve service behavior of personnel
