Abstract
การวิจัยเรื่องนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) สภาพพื้นฐานทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจของเกษตรกร (2) การผลิตกล้วยไม้สกุลหวายของเกษตรกร (3) ความต้องการการส่งเสริมการเกษตรของเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตกล้วยไม้สกุลหวาย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) เกษตรกรร้อยละ 68.5 เป็นเพศชาย อายุเฉลี่ย 44.89 ปี ส่วนใหญ่จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา มีสมาชิกในครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 4.12 คน มีประสบการณ์ในการผลิตเฉลี่ย 17.62 ปี เกษตรกรทั้งหมดเป็นสมาชิกสถาบันเกษตรกร ส่วนใหญ่เป็นสมาชิกกลุ่มผู้ผลิตกล้วยไม้สกุลหวาย เกษตรกรทั้งหมดมีสื่อในครัวเรือน คือ โทรทัศน์ และ วิทยุ ได้รับความรู้เกี่ยวกับการผลิตจากเจ้าหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการเกษตร แรงงานในครัวเรือนส่วนใหญ่ 3 คน แรงงานจ้าง 3 คน พื้นที่ผลิตเฉลี่ย 23.82ไร่ และเป็นพื้นของตนเองบางส่วนและเป็นพื้นที่เช่าบางส่วน แหล่งเงินทุนของเกษตรกรทั้งหมดมาจากเงินทุนของตนเอง (2) เกษตรกรทั้งหมดใช้ซาแลนพรางแสง ส่วนใหญ่ความเข้ม 50 – 60% ใช้เสาคอนกรีต และโต๊ะทำด้วยเสาคอนกรีตพื้นโต๊ะทาด้วยสายโทรศัพท์ วัสดุปลูกใช้กาบมะพร้าวเรือใบ ระยะเวลาใช้เครื่องปลูก 4 ปี พันธุ์ที่ปลูกส่วนใหญ่ คือ บอมโจแดง ต้นพันธุ์จากการแยกลา เกษตรกรทั้งหมดขยายพันธุ์ด้วยเอง การให้น้าส่วนใหญ่ใช้สปริงเกอร์ และใช้น้าจากแม่น้า เกษตรกรทั้งหมดใช้ปุ๋ยเคมี สูตร30-20-10 แมลงและสัตว์ศัตรูพืชสาคัญที่พบ ได้แก่ เพลี้ยไฟ และบั่วกล้วยไม้ โรคสาคัญที่พบส่วนใหญ่ ได้แก่ โรคเน่าดา การป้องกันกาจัดโดยใช้สารเคมี เกษตรกรเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตช่วงเวลาเช้า โดยเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตที่มีดอกบานไม่น้อยกว่า 4 ดอก การจำหน่ายต่างประเทศทั้งหมดคัดเกรดกล้วยไม้ ส่วนใหญ่ 4 เกรด ผลผลิตส่วนใหญ่จำหน่ายที่ประเทศอิตาลี (3) เกษตรกรมีความต้องการ ส่งเสริมความรู้เกี่ยวกับการผลิตกล้วยไม้สกุลหวาย อยู่ในระดับมาก ในเรื่องวัตถุอันตรายทางการเกษตร และการรวมกลุ่มเกษตรกร ช่องทางและวิธีการในการส่งเสริมความรู้เกี่ยวกับการผลิตกล้วยไม้สกุลหวาย ส่วนใหญ่ต้องการความรู้บุคคลจากหน่วยงานราชการ ผ่านสื่อ อินเตอร์เน็ต โทรทัศน์ และคู่มือ วิธีการส่งเสริมที่ต้องการคือ การศึกษาดูงาน การฝึกปฏิบัติ และการบรรยาย
The purposes of this research were to study (1) fundamental socio-economic circumstance of farmers, (2) Dendrobium orchid production by farmers, (3) agricultural extension needs by Dendrobium orchid production farmers. The population in this study was a number of 222 Dendrobium orchid production farmers in 143 households by simple random sampling. Data were collected from them by interview form and analyzed by computer programs. Statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, maximum value, minimum value and standard deviation. Results of the study were as follows: (1) 68.5% of the farmers were male with their average age at 44.89 years. Most farmers completed primary school. The average number of their household member was 4.12 persons. Their average experience in production was 17.62 years. All of them joined membership of specific agricultural institutions, mostly belonged to Dendrobium Orchid Production Farmers Group. All of their household media were television and radio. They acquired production knowledge from agricultural extension officers. Mostly their average household labor was 3 persons while the average of their hired labor was also 3 persons. Their average production area was 23.82 rai. Some part s owned by them and some parts rented by them. For capital, they spent out of their own savings. (2) For shading sun, all farmers used slant, mostly between 50-60% of darkness, using concrete poles, table made of concrete poles and table floor made of telephone wire. Material for growing was boat-shaped coconut husk. Period for adoption of orchid plant-materials was 4 years. The most grown species was Red Bomjo. Propagation was done by bulb separation. All of them did the propagation by themselves, watering by sprinkler and by water from the nearby river. All of them applied chemical fertilizer formula 30-20-10. Insects and pests found were thrips and orchid midge whereas the disease most found was black rot and pests control by chemical substance. Harvest was performed in the morning cutting the products bearing more than 4 blooming flowers. All products were exported to overseas countries under 4 main selected grades of orchid. Most of the products would be exported to Italy. (3) Agricultural extension needs by farmers, they needed knowledge promotion regarding Dendrobium orchid knowledge promotion at high level. Meanwhile, agricultural hazardous materials, agricultural forming group, channel and method for Dendrobium Orchid knowledge promotion, most farmers would like to obtain the above knowledge from official organizations via media such as internet, television and manual. The methods required for promotion included study visits, training workshop and academic lectures.
