Abstract
การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพทั่วไปของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน อินเดีย เกาหลีใต้ ญี่ปุ่น รัสเซีย และสหรัฐอเมริกาที่เดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย ในช่วง พ.ศ. 2556 - 2562 และ (2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยระดับมหภาคที่กําหนดจํานวนนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน อินเดีย เกาหลีใต้ ญี่ปุ่น รัสเซีย และสหรัฐอเมริกาที่เดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2556 - 2562 การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณา เพื่อศึกษาสภาพทั่วไปของนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ ที่เดินทางเข้ามาประเทศไทย และการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ เพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจที่กําหนดจํานวนนักท่องเที่ยวจากจีน อินเดีย เกาหลีใต้ ญี่ปุ่น รัสเซีย และสหรัฐอเมริกาที่มาท่องเที่ยวในไทย โดยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลรายไตรมาส ได้แก่ จํานวนนักท่องเที่ยว ดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค อัตราแลกเปลี่ยน และผลิตภัณฑ์มวลรวมในประเทศ ตั้งแต่ ไตรมาสที่ 1 ปี 2556 ถึง ไตรมาสที่ 4 ปี 2562 ใช้เครื่องมือในการวิจัย ได้แก่ การหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน และการประมาณค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ของแต่ละปัจจัยด้วยวิธีกำลังสองน้อยที่สุดแบบธรรมดา ผลการศีกษา พบว่า (1) นักท่องเที่ยว 6 ประเทศ เพิ่มขึ้นต่อเนื่อง เฉลี่ยร้อยละ 6 ปี ปี 2562 นักท่องเที่ยวจากจีนมีจํานวน 11.14 ล้านคน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 28 ของนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติทั้งหมด อินเดีย (ร้อยละ 3.3) เกาหลีใต้ (ร้อยละ 4.7) ญี่ปุ่น (ร้อยละ 4.5) รัสเซีย (ร้อยละ 3.7) และสหรัฐอเมริกา (ร้อยละ 2.9) ตามลำดับ และ (2) ปัจจัยระดับมหภาคที่มีผลต่อนักท่องเที่ยวจากประเทศจีน คือ ดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค และผลิตภัณฑ์มวลรวมในประเทศนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และอัตราแลกเปลี่ยน นัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .10 สําหรับอินเดียและเกาหลีได้กล้ายคลึงกัน โดยเป็นผลจากดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค นัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ .10 ตามลำดับ ขณะที่รัสเซียเป็นผลจากผลิตภัณฑ์มวลรวมในประเทศนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และสหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นผลจากอัตราแลกเปลี่ยน นัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .10 แต่ปัจจัยที่ศึกษาไม่ส่งผลต่อนักท่องเที่ยวญี่ปุ่นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทั้งนี้ จำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวอาจจะมีผลจากตัวแปรในเชิงเปรียบเทียบ และตัวแปรเชิงจิตวิทยาด้วย
The purposes of this study were (1) to study the general attributes of the tourists travelling from China, India, South Korea, Japan, Russia and the USA to Thailand, during 2013-2019 and (2) to analyze the macro-level factors that determine the number of the tourist travelling from China, India, South Korea, Japan, Russia and USA to Thailand, during 2013-2019. This study employed both descriptive research to study out the general attributes of the foreign tourist who visit Thailand and quantitative research to analyze the economic factors that determined the number of tourists travelling from China, India, South Korea, Japan, Russia and the USA to Thailand. To conduct the analyses, the quarterly data of tourist number, consumer price index, exchange rate, and gross domestic product from the first quarter of 2013 to the fourth quarter of 2019 were analyzed by the Pearson correlation coefficients and the estimated coefficients produced by Ordinary Least Squares Regression. The results from the analyses showed that (1) the average growth rate of tourists from these 6 countries was 6% per year. In 2019, there were 11.14 million Chinese tourists which accounted for 28% of total foreign tourist and it was followed by the tourists from India (5.3%), South Korea (4.7%), Japan (4.5%), Russia (3.7%) and the USA (2.9%), and (2) the macro-level factors, that affected the number of Chinese tourists, were CPI and GDP with the statistically significant level of .05 and exchange rate with the statistically significant level of .10. In the case of India and South Korea, the results were similar such that they were affected by CPI with a statistically significant level of .05 and .10, respectively. Whereas, Russia was affected by GDP with a statistically significant level of .05 and the USA was affected by the exchange rate with a statistically significant level of.10. However, the factors under this study did not affect the tourists from Japan which implied that the number of tourists may be affected by the relative and psychological variables
