Abstract
The purpose of this research was to compare mathematics learning achievements in the topic of Division of Prathom Suksa III students at Ban Pakchian School in Nakhon Si Thammarat province before and after learning with the hands-on mathematics learning activities. The research sample consisted of 32 Prathom Suksa III students studying in the second semester of the 2015 academic year at Ban Pakchian School in Nakhorn Si Thammarat Province, obtained by cluster sampling. The employed research instruments consisted of (1) mathematics learning management plans for hands-on mathematics learning activities; and (2) an achievement test on the topic of Division. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Research findings revealed that the post-learning mathematics learning achievement on the topic of Division of Prathom Suksa III students at Ban Pakchian School, who learned from hands-on mathematics learning activities, was significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart achievement at the .05 level.
