Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1)เพื่อศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาในการจัดห้องสมุดประชาชน ในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี (2) เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการของประชาชนต่อแนวทางการจัดห้องสมุดประชาชนในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี (3) เพี่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของผู้อำนวยการศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบ และการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยจังหวัดและอำเภอ และบรรณารักษ์ ต่อแนวทางการจัดห้องสมุดประชาชนในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี (4) เพี่อนำเสนอรูปแบบการจัด ห้องสมุดประชาชนเพื่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีกลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วยประชาชนผู้ใชับริการห้องสมุด 384 คน ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบ และการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยจังหวัด 1 คน และอำเภอ 13 คน และบรรณารักษ์ 13 คน เครื่องมือในการรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบสอบถามสำหรับแฅ่ละกลุ่มตัวอย่าง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) กลุ่มตัวอย่างทุกกลุ่มระบุว่าสภาพปัจจุบันของห้องสมุดประชาชนในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ในทุกด้าน เช่น ด้านอาคารสถานที่ ด้านครุภัณฑ์ห้องสมุด ด้านบริการ และด้านกิจกรรม มีความเหมาะสม ในรฺะดับมาก ส่วนปัญหาที่พบมาก ได้แก่ โต๊ะ-เก้าอี้ใม่เพียงพอต่อการให้บริการ อาคารห้องสมุดมีขนาดเล็กคับแคบเกินไปขาดการประชาสัมพันธ์การจัดกิจกรรมห้องสมุด (2) ประชาชนระบุความต้องการในระดับมาก ต่อแนวทางในการพัฒนาองค์ประกอบทุกๆ ด้านของสมุดประชาชน เพี่อให้เป็นห้องสมุดที่ส่งเสริมการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัย (3) ความคิดเห็นของ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบ และการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยจังหวัดและอำเภอ และบรรณารักษ์ ต่อแนวทางการจัดห้องสมุดเพื่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัย เห็นด้วยในระดับมากในทุกด้าน (4) รูปแบบการจัดห้องสมุดประชาชาชนในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี เพี่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยประกอบด้วย 7 ด้าน คือ ด้านอาคารสถานที่ ด้านครุภัณฑ์ห้องสมุด ด้านการบริหารจัดการ ด้านวัสดุสิ่งพิมพ์ ด้านวัสดุไม่ใช่สิ่งพิมพ์ด้านบริการ และ ด้านกิจกรรม ในส่วนของการบริการและกิจกรรมจะเน้นสิ่งต่อไปนี้ บริการคอมพิวเตอร์เพี่อการสืบค้นข้อมูลข่าวสาร มุมห้องสมุดอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ให้บริการ CD-Rom VCD DVD และ VDO ในเนื้อหาที่ประชาชนต้องการ เช่น เรื่องเกี่ยวกับอาชีพ เกี่ยวกับเทคโนโลยีทางการเกษตร กิจกรรมวันสำคัญต่างๆ ทางศาสนาประเพณี
The purposed of this research were (1) to study present situation and problems of operating the public libraries in Kanchanaburi Province; (2) to identify The needs of people for guidelines for operating the public libraries in Kanchanaburi province; (3) to study the opinions of the Directors of Non-formal and Informal Eduaction Centres at a provincial and district levels toward guidelines for operating Public libraries in Kanchanaburi province; and (4) to propose a model of operating public libraries for enhancing informal education in Kanchanaburi province. The samples of the study consisted of (1) 384 clients of district public Libraries, director of provincial and 13 directors of district Non-formal and Informal education centers and (3) 13 Librarians Each set of questionnaires was employed for data collecting for each group of the samples. The data were analyses by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. Research findings revealed that (1) every group of the samples reported the high level of overall satisfaction with every aspect of the public libraries (eg.location, facilities, services and activities available). However, some problems Still be stated such as not enough tables and chairs for reading, a building was rather small and the publicity of available activities was not yet wide spresaded; (2) libraries clients expressed their needs at a high level for guidelines for improving every aspect of the public libraries to enhance informal education, (3) The opinions of the director of provincial and the directors of district Non-formal and Informal Education centred to wards guidelines for improving every aspect of the public Libraries were at a high level; and (4) A proposed model of the public libraries which Enhancing informal education consisted of 7 aspects: location and building? facilities, and activition, types of printed materials, types of non-printed materials, services, and activities. The services and activities which should be provided included: And activities. The searching information, e-library comer, and providing CD- ROM, VCD, DVD and Vedio which included the contents that people needed eg. vocational subjects, agriculture technology, activities of the important days of religious and culture
