การพัฒนากรอบสมรรถนะของบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาด้านการให้การศึกษาผู้ใช้

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนากรอบสมรรถนะของบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาด้านการให้การศึกษาผู้ใช้ วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี ประกอบด้วยการวิจัยเอกสาร และการสำรวจ แหล่งข้อมูลประกอบด้วย เอกสารและงานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับสมรรถนะของบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาด้านการให้การศึกษาผู้ใช้ ทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาต่างประเทศ ที่ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2551 - 2561 จำนวน 108 รายการ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง กลุ่มที่ 1 ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิสาขามนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ และสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี จำนวน 20 คน กลุ่มที่ 2 ผู้บริหารห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษา อาจารย์ผู้สอน บรรณารักษ์ และนักศึกษา จำนวน 51 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบบันทึกข้อมูล แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสอบถาม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา การหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กรอบสมรรถนะของบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษา ด้านการให้การศึกษาผู้ใช้ ครอบคลุม 3 ด้าน เรียงตามลำดับค่าเฉลี่ย ดังนี้ ด้านการพัฒนา ความร่วมมือ มีค่าเฉลี่ยระดับมากที่สุด ส่วนด้านการบริการและกิจกรรมสนับสนุนการให้การศึกษาผู้ใช้ และด้านการสอน/การฝึกอบรม มีค่าเฉลี่ยระดับมาก แต่ละด้านมีรายการสมรรถนะย่อยรวมทั้งหมด 28 รายการ รายการที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด 10 รายการ เรียงตามลาดับค่าเฉลี่ย ดังนี้ การมีจิตบริการ การมีมนุษยสัมพันธ์ การแสวงหาความรู้และความใฝ่รู้ การมีคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และจรรยาบรรณ การใช้เทคโนโลยีในการเข้าถึงและการสืบค้นสารสนเทศ การสื่อสารและการนำเสนอ การใช้ภาษาไทย ความรับผิดชอบต่อตนเองและผู้อื่น การตัดสินใจ และการคิดวิเคราะห์แก้ไขปัญหา

The objective of this research was to develop an academic librarians’ user education competency fr amework. This mixed-method research comprising documentary research and survey research. The main data source consisted of 108 documents in both the Thai and English languages, published between 2008-2018 and two groups of key informants. The first gloup consisted of 20 experts on humanities and social sciences, and science and technology, and the second group of 51 academic directors, faculty members, librarians, and students. The research instruments were a note-taking form, an interview form, and a questionnaire. Qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis, while quantitative data were statistically analyzed by using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Research findings indicated that the competency framework of academic librarians' user education was composed of three dimensions which were ranked based on their rating means. The highest average means being collaborative development, followed by services and activities to support user education, and the teaching/training with the high average means. All three dimensions were composed of 28 items. Ten items received the highest average means, which were ranked based on their rating means as follows: service minded, human relations, knowledge seeking and pursuit of knowledge, morality and code of ethics, the use of technology to access and retrieve information, communication and presentation, Thai language usage, responsibility to oneself and others, decision making, and critical thinking and problem solving.
