การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) พฤติกรรมการตัดสินใจเซิง
จริยธรรมของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย (2) ปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจเชิงจริยธรรมของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย และ (3) ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการตัดสินใจเชิงจริยธรรมของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย โรงพยาบาลศูนย์และโรงพยาบาลทั่วไปเขตตรวจราชการสาธารณสุขที่ 17 และ 18 ประชากรที่ศึกษาเป็นพยาบาลหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยที่ปฏิบัติงาน ในโรงพยาบาลศูนย์และโรงพยาบาลทั่วไปเขตตรวจราชการสาธารณสุขที่ 17และ 18 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสอบถาม ประกอบด้วย 3 ส่วน ได้แก่ ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการตัดสินใจเชิงจริยธรรม และพฤติกรรมการตัดสินใจเซิงจริยธรรมตามสถานการณ์ ซึ่งแบบสอบถามส่วนที่ 3 มีค่าความเที่ยง ของการวัดโดยใช้วิธีการของคูเดอร์ ริชาร์ดสัน (KR-20) เท่ากับ 0.65 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเที่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และ
การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณแบบเพิ่มตัวแปรเป็นขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) หัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยโรงพยาบาลศูนย์และโรงพยาบาลทั่วไปเขตตรวจราชการสาธารณสุขที่ 17 และ 18 มีพฤติกรรมการตัดสินใจเชิงจริยธรรม ตามหลักจริยธรรมโดยรวมเมื่อเผชิญสถานการณ์ที่กำหนดในระดับมากที่สุด (2) ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจเชิงจริยธรรมของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยมากที่สุด ได้แก่ปัจจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในการทำงาน และ (3) ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการตัดสินใจเชิงจริยธรรมของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในการทำงาน โดยมีสัมประสิทธิ์พยากรณ์ ร้อยละ 3.9 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ .05
The purposes of this descriptive research were: (1) to explore the ethical decision-making behaviors of head nurses, (2) to find factors relating to ethical decision-making of head nurses, and (3) to investigate factors influencing ethical decision-making behavior of head nurses at region and general hospitals of public health inspection region 17 and 18. The population comprised 225 head nurses who worked for regional and general hospitals in public health inspection region 17 and 18. Three sets of questionnaires covering personal data, factors influencing ethical decision-making data, and ethical decision-making behaviors were used as research tools. They were tested for reliability and validity. The Kuder - Richardson method (KR-20) reliability coefficient of the third set was 0.65. The statistical devices used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. The findings were as follows. (1) Head nurses at regional and general hospitals of public health inspection region 17 and 18 rated their ethical decision-making behaviors at the highest level. (2) The working environment factor mostly related to the ethical decision - making of head nurses. (3) The working environment factor significantly influenced ethical decision making behavior of head nurses at regional and 0general hospitals in public health inspection region 17 and 18 at 3.9% (p<-05).
