การวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ทางการเงินเพื่อการลงทุนระบบน้ำหยดสำหรับการเพาะปลูกการผลิตมันสำปะหลัง : กรณีศึกษาอำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) วิเคราะห์ต้นทุนและผลตอบแทนการลงทุนระบบ น้ำหยดในการเพาะปลูกมันสำปะหลัง 2) วิเคราะห์ถึงปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกษตรกรใช้ระบบน้ำหยดในการเพาะปลูกมันสำปะหลังกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้แก่ เกษตรกรที่ปลูกมันสำปะหลังในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี เฉพาะปีการเพาะปลูก 2558/2559 จำนวน 100 ราย โดยแบ่งประชากรออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ เกษตรกรผู้ปลูกมันสำปะหลังระบบน้ำหยด จำนวน 50 ราย และเกษตรกรที่ปลูกมันสำปะหลังโดยอาศัยน้ำฝนธรรมชาติ จำนวน 50 ราย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้แก่ 1) คำนวณกระแสเงินสดเพื่อวิเคราะห์ความคุ้มทุน และคำนวณหาระยะเวลาคืนทุน 2) การวิเคราะห์โดยใช้ฟังก์ชันการผลิตแบบคอบบ์-ดักลาส เพื่อให้ทราบว่าระบบน้ำหยดสามารถเพิ่มผลผลิตมันสำปะหลังได้จริงหรือไม่ 3) การวิเคราะห์โดยใช้แบบจำลองโพรบิท เพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกษตรกรลงทุนระบบน้ำหยดในการเพาะปลูกมันสำปะหลังผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) การปลูกมันสำปะหลังระบบน้ำหยดสามารถเพิ่มผลผลิต ได้มากกว่าการปลูกมันสำปะหลังโดยอาศัยน้ำฝนธรรมชาติถึง 24.69% มูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิที่คำนวณโดยใช้อัตราคิดลดร้อยละ 7 ตลอดอายุโครงการ 20 ปีเท่ากับ 59,232.20 บาท มีระยะเวลาคืนทุนเท่ากับ 1.57 ปี ดังนั้น ผลการวิจัยจึงสามารถสรุปได้ว่า การลงทุนระบบน้ำหยดในการเพาะปลูกมันสำปะหลังมีความคุ้มทุน 2) ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกษตรกรตัดสินใจใช้ระบบน้ำหยดในการเพาะปลูก มันสำปะหลังพบว่า โอกาสที่ผู้นำครอบครัวที่เป็นชายจะตัดสินใจปลูกมันสำปะหลังด้วยระบบน้ำหยดจะมีมากกว่าผู้นำครอบครัวที่เป็นหญิง ซึ่งอาจจะเป็นเพราะผู้ชายมีความเข้าใจในเทคโนโลยีระบบน้ำหยดมากกว่าผู้หญิง

The objectives for the study of Analysis of return to investment in drip irrigation system for cassava production are 1) to analyze investment costs and returns for using drip irrigation system and 2) to determine factors which motivated farmers to adopt drip irrigation system when planting cassava.Data for the analysis was obtained from interviews of altogether 100 farmers who grew cassava in Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province during the Crop Year 2015/2016. The sample is divided into 2 groups consisting of 50 farmers who grew cassava using drip irrigation system and 50 farmers who relied only on rainfall. The analytical tools adopted in this study included 1) financial analysis of investment in drip irrigation system, 2) The use of obb–Douglas production function to determine the relationship between the use of drip irrigation system and cassava yields 3) the use of Probit model to determine factors which motivated farmers to adopt drip irrigation system. The study results showed that, when comparing with farmer who used natural rainfalls, drip irrigation system can increase cassava yield by 24.69 %. One of the factors which determined the adoption of drip irrigation system was gender. There was a higher probability that male household heads would adopt drip irrigation system than female. This could be because men have more knowledge of the benefits of drip irrigation. From the analysis, the break-even point and payback period was 1.57 years. The net present value using a discount rate of 7 % for a 20-year period of investment was 59,232.20 baht. Therefore, the study results indicated that it was financially feasible to invest in drip irrigation system
