Abstract
วิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจวิถีชีวิตครอบครัวกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ปกาเกอะญอ บ้านป่าเด็งใต้ ตำบลป่าเด็ง อำเภอแก่งกระจาน จังหวัดเพชรบุรี เป็นวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ประชากร คือ ครอบครัวกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ปกาเกอะญอ ที่อาศัยอยู่ใน หมู่บ้านป่าเด็งใต้ เจาะจงเลือกตัวอย่างจำนวน 10 ครอบครัว โดยเลือกครอบครัวที่มีผู้นำครอบครัว อายุ 21-39 ปี จำนวน 3 ครอบครัว อายุ 40-59 ปี จำนวน 3 ครอบครัว และอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 4 ครอบครัว เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก แบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วน ได้แก่ 1) ข้อมูลทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับ ครอบครัว 2) ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวิถีชีวิตครอบครัว วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การพรรณนาความและการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ครอบครัวกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ปกาเกอะญอบ้านป่าเด็งใต้ 1) ข้อมูลทั่วไปของครอบครัว ได้แก่ เป็นครอบครัวขนาดใหญ่และมีบุตรจำนวนมากนับถือศาสนาคริสต์ การศึกษาค่อนข้างต่ำ ส่วนใหญ่มีอาชีพรับจ้างทำไร่รายวัน สถานภาพการสมรสคือ แต่งงานมีครอบครัวแล้ว รายได้เฉลี่ยของครอบครัวประมาณ 6,800 บาท 2) ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวิถีชีวิตครอบครัวเป็นครอบครัวเดี่ยว มีชายเป็นใหญ่ นิยมเลือกคู่ในกลุ่มเดียวกันและแยกครอบครัวหลังแต่งงาน สร้างบ้านเรือน แบบสมัยใหม่ติดแม่น้ำและรายล้อมด้วยธรรมชาติ เหตุการณ์ที่มีนัยสำคัญพบว่า มีเหตุการณ์วิกฤต ในครอบครัวที่มีแนวโน้มเข้าสู่สภาวะครอบครัวล้มเหลวด้านเศรษฐกิจมีฝ่ายชายเป็นผู้หารายได้ หลัก รายรับต่ำ รายจ่ายสูง มีเงินออมต่ำ หนี้สินสูง ด้านสัมพันธภาพของครอบครัว พบว่า ให้ความ สำคัญต่อการทำบทบาทสมาชิกในครอบครัวต่ำ ไม่นิยมวางแผนการใช้เวลาร่วมกันเลี้ยงบุตรแบบ ให้พึ่งตนเองเร็ว เลี้ยงดูบุตรแบบไม่สนับสนุนและควบคุมน้อย ศรัทธากับความเชื่อทางศาสนาเคารพผู้นำ ไม่ชอบเรียกร้อง ไม่ขัดแย้งมีความเกรงใจไม่ชอบปฏิเสธ ชอบพึ่งพาอาศัยกัน มีความเกื้อกูลระหว่างญาติพี่น้อง ด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างครอบครัวกับชุมชนพบว่ามีลักษณะจิตอาสาและให้ความร่วมมือชุมชนเป็นอย่างดี นอกจากนี้ผลวิจัยยังพบอีกว่า กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์มีวิถีชีวิตอยู่ในสองวิถี คือ วิถีแบบกึ่งดั้งเดิมและกระแสนิยม วิถีดั้งเดิมเป็นวิถีที่เรียบง่ายรักอิสระ วิถีชีวิตกระแสนิยม คือ กระแสความเจริญด้านเทคโนโลยีและสังคมการปรับตัวเพื่อการดำรงชีวิตจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ
This research aimed to survey the way of family life among the Pga K’nyau (Karen) ethnic group in Baan Padengtai, Padeng Subdistrict, Kaeng Krachan District, Phetchaburi Province. This study is qualitative research. The population was Karen ethnic group families in Baan Padengtai, 10 families purposive sampling. There were three types of families: Three families with a head of the family aged 21-39 years old, three families with a head of the family aged 40-59 years old and four families with a head of the family aged 60 years or older. The research instrument was in-depth interviews, which divided into two parts. 1) general family information and 2) family way of life. Analysis of the information was descriptive and content analysis. The results of this research show that the Karen ethnic families have 1) general family information: lack of education, farming laborers, married, a large number of children, Christian religion, an average income of 6,800 and 2) family way of life information: a nuclear family, patriarchy, matrilocality, endogamy, modern-style homes, natural surroundings, a significant event that caused crisis with potential to cause family failure, a man as main income provider, low income and high expenses, small savings and large debt, unintentional familial relationships, lack of intentionality in family leisure time, parents pushing selfreliance on their children at a young age, compromising parents, strict religious beliefs, respect for leaders, no demands of others, no disagreements, ready to volunteer and generosity towards community efforts. In other words, the way of life among Karen ethnic families is a mix of tradition and modernisation. The traditional way of life is a simple way of life. The modern way of life involves development in society and increased technology. When in the midst of this dual way of life, a family’s ability to adapt is most important
