Abstract
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยของบริษัทจดทะเบียน (2) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยของบริษัทจดทะเบียน (3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของพฤติกรรม ด้านการลงทุน มูลค่าการลงทุน และจำนวนหลักทรัพย์ที่เลือกลงทุนจำแนกตามข้อมูลทั่วไปของบริษัทจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย ผู้วิจัยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเคื่รองมือในการวิจัยกับบริษัทจดทะเบียน 397 บริษัท คิดเป็นร้อยละ 92.75 ของบริษัทจดทะเบียน ทั้งสิ้น 428 บริษัท ณ วันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2548 ไม่นับรวมบริษัทที่อยู่ในกลุ่มฟื้นฟูกิจการ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ในการศึกษาข้อมูลทั่วไปของบริษัทจดทะเบียน พบว่ากลุ่มอสังหาริมทรัพย์และะก่อสร้างมีจำนวนมากที่สุดและบริษัทส่วนใหญ่มีทุนจดทะเบียนต่ำกว่า 1,000 ล้านบาท มีระยะเวลาจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ 11-15 ปี มีโครงสร้างผู้ถือหุ้นรายย่อย 20-40 % และมีโครงสร้างผู้ถือหุ้นต่างชาติต่ำกว่า 10% และผลจากการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยของบริษัทจดทะเบียน คือภาวะอุตสาหกรรมภาวะการเมือง และน้อยที่สุด คือ ปัจจัยด้านสิทธิพิเศษทางภาษี โดยรายละเอียดบริษัทจดทะเบียนให้ความสำคัญมากที่สุดกับปัจจัยด้านภาวะหลักทรัพย์ ได้แก่ อัตราผลตอบแทน อัตราการเจริญเติบโตของบริษัท สำหรับปัจจัยอุตสาหกรรมได้แก่ ปัจจัย ที่มีผลกระทบต่ออุตสาหกรรม สภาวะการแข่งขันในอุตสาหกรรม ปัจจัยด้านภาวะเศรษฐกิจ ได้แก่ อัตราการเจริญเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจ อัตราดอกเบี้ย ส่วนปัจจัยด้านการเมือง ได้แก่ นโยบายของรัฐบาล (2) พฤติกรรมการลงทุนโดยรวมพบว่าบริษัทจดทะเบียนส่วนใหญ่ร้อยละ 53.9 ไม่ลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์มีสาเหตุ คือ นโยบายและกฎระเบียบบริษัท และไม่ต้องการแบกรับความเสี่ยง โดยไม่แน่ใจว่าอนาคตจะลงทุน แต่สำหรับบริษัทที่ลงทุน ซึ่งมีร้อยละ 46.1 ได้ให้เหตุผลที่ลงทุน คือ นโยบายบริษัทและมีเงินออมเหลือ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก คือผลตอบแทนด้วยตัวเงิน รองลงมาคือเพื่อการผนึกกำลังทางธุรกิจ ส่วนใหญ่ลงทุนด้วยตนเองจากกำไรสะสม ลงทุนด้วยมูลค่าต่ำกว่า 5% ของสินทรัพย์สุทธิ และ ลงทุนในหลักทรัพย์ 1-5 ประเภท ในธุรกิจที่ต่างประเภทโดยสิ้นเชิงมากที่สุด ส่วนใหญ่ถือครองหลักทรัพย์มากกว่า 2 ปี และเป็นผู้ถือหุ้นรายย่อย และ บริษัทจดทะเบียนพึงพอใจในการลงทุนช่วงปี 2545-2548 (3) เปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมการลงทุนจำแนกตามข้อมูลทั่วไปของบริษัทจดทะเบียน พบว่ากลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์มากที่สุดดิดเป็น ร้อยละ 80.6 โดย ร้อยละ 19.4 ไม่ลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์และกลุ่มสินค้าอุตสาหกรรมลงทุนน้อยที่สุดร้อยละ 20 บริษัท ที่มีทุนจดทะเบียนมากกว่า 20,000 ด้านบาทลงทุนมากที่สุดร้อยละ 70.6 บริษัทที่มีระยะเวลาจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์มากกว่า 15 ปี ลงทุนมากที่สุดร้อยละ 63.3 บริษัทที่มีโครงสร้างผู้ถือหุ้นรายย่อยกว่า 60% ลงทุนมากที่สุดร้อยละ 56.4 และบริษัทที่มีโครงสร้างผู้ถือหุ้นต่างชาติ 16-25% ลงทุนมากที่สุดร้อยละ 55.6
The purposes of this study were (1) to study factors determining the investing behavior of Listed Companies in the SET. (2) to study investing behavior of Listed Companies (3) to compare investing behavior, investing amount and number of investing secunties defined by demographic data of Listed Companies The data was collected through questionnaires distributed to Listed Companies.The 397 respondents represented a 92.75% of total 428 Listed Companies as of December 31, 2005 excluding Rehabco. Statistics used for data analysis are percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Research on demographic data of Listed Companies showed that the majority of listed companies were in Property and Construction Group. Most listed companies had less than 1,000 million bath registered capital with 11-15 years’ listing period. They mostly had minor shareholders structure of 20-40% and foreign shareholders structure of less than 10%. Major research finding were (1) Factors determining investing behavior in the SET; Industry factors and Political factors were found ranked as the most significant factors while Tax Benefit was ranked as the least significant In detail, Listed Companies considered mostly on/Securities factors which were Rate of Return and Company’s Growth Rate. Factors Affecting Industry Situation and Competition within an Industry were found ranked as the most significant for Industrial Factors. Economic Growth Rate and Interest Rate were found ranked as the most significant for Economic Factors while Government Policy was found to be the most significant for Political factors. (2) Investing Behavior, Majority 53.9% of listed companies didnot invest in the SET. The reasons for not investing were companies policy and risk avoidance. Most of them were riot certain on their decision to invest in the future. It was found that 46.1% of listed companies invested in the SET. Their main reasons for such investment were the companies’ policy and having excess retained earnings and cashflows. Return on investment find business synergy were found ranked as major objectives for their investment. Most companies made their own investment from retained earnings with the value of less than 5% of total assets. Most Listed Companies invested about 1-5 securities in Conglomerate Companies and hold their securities for more than 2 years. Most listed companies preferred to be minor shareholders. Lastly, most invested companies showed their preference in investing during 2002-2005. (3) The comparative investment behaviors defined by demographic data; It was found that companies in Financial Group have the highest investing percentage of 80.6% while 19.4% did not invest in the SET. The companies in In dustrial Group have the least investing percentage of 20.0%. The companies with over 20,000 million baht registered capital have the highest investment ratio of 70.6%. For registration period, it was found that the companies that had been registered for more than 15 years have the highest investment ratio of 633%. The companies with the minor shareholder structure of over 60% invest at the highest ratio of 56.4 % and the companies with foreign shareholder structure of 16-25% invest at the highest ratio of 55.6%.
