Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาสถานการณ์การผลิต การตลาด และการค้าปาล์มน้ำมันและน้ำมันปาล์มของประเทศไทย (2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่ออุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการบริโภคของประเทศไทยและ (3) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่ออุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการผลิตไบโอดีเซลของประเทศไทยการศึกษาใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ มีลักษณะเป็นอนุกรมเวลารายเดือน ตั้งแต่ เดือนมกราคม พ.ศ. 2558 ถึง เดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2564 รวมทั้งสิ้น จำนวน 84 เดือน โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์ การถดถอยพหุคูณด้วยวิธีการลดรูปตัวแปร พร้อมทั้งตรวจสอบปัญหาตัวแปรอิสระมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงเส้นตรง ตัวคลาดเคลื่อนมีสหสัมพันธ์กัน และตัวคลาดเคลื่อนมีความแปรปรวนไม่คงที่ ตามลำดับผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ในปี 2565 ประเทศไทยมีพื้นที่เก็บเกี่ยวปาล์มน้ำมัน 6.15 ล้านไร่ มีผลผลิตปาล์มน้ำมัน 16.22 ล้านตัน และผลิตน้ำมันปาล์มดิบได้ 3.37 ล้านตัน ด้านความต้องการใช้น้ำมันปาล์มดิบในประเทศไทยมีปริมาณ 2.16 ล้านตัน โดยมีความต้องการใช้น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการบริโภค 1.24 ล้านตัน หรือคิดเป็นสัดส่วนร้อยละ 51.2 ของความต้องการใช้น้ำมันปาล์มดิบและความต้องการใช้น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการผลิตไบโอดีเซล 1.14 ล้านตัน หรือคิดเป็นสัดส่วนร้อยละ 48.8 (2) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่ออุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการบริโภคของประเทศไทย คือ ราคาน้ำมันปาล์มดิบ ราคาน้ำมันถั่วเหลืองบริสุทธิ์ และดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค โดยที่ราคาน้ำมันปาล์มดิบมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางตรงกันข้ามกับอุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการบริโภค ส่วนราคาน้ำมันถั่วเหลืองบริสุทธิ์ และดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภคมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางเดียวกันกับอุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการบริโภค และ (3) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่ออุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการผลิตไบโอดีเซลของประเทศไทย คือ ราคาน้ำมันปาล์มดิบ ปริมาณการใช้น้ำมันดีเซล และดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค โดยที่ราคาน้ำมันปาล์มดิบมีความสัมพันธ์ ในทิศทางตรงกันข้ามกับอุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการผลิตไบโอดีเซล ส่วนปริมาณการใช้น้ำมันดีเซล และดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภคมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางเดียวกันกับอุปสงค์น้ำมันปาล์มดิบเพื่อการผลิตไบโอดีเซล
The objectives of this study are to (1) study the situation of production, marketing, and trade of oil palm and palm oil in Thailand, (2) analyze factors that affect the crude palm oil demand for consumption in Thailand, and (3) analyze factors that affect the crude palm oil demand for biodiesel production in Thailand.The study used secondary data, which is a monthly time series, starting from January 2015 to December 2021, totaling 84 months. Multiple regression analysis was used with the backward elimination method. The problems of multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity were also checked.The results showed that (1) in 2022, Thailand had 6.15 million rai of oil palm harvested area, the production of oil palm was 16.22 million tons, and the production of crude palm oil was 3.37 million tons. The demand for crude palm oil in Thailand was 2.16 million tons, with the crude palm oil demand for consumption at 1.24 million tons, or 51.2 percent, and the crude palm oil demand for biodiesel production at 1.14 million tons, or 48.8 percent of the crude palm oil demand in the country. (2) The factors that affect the crude palm oil demand for consumption in Thailand were the price of crude palm oil, the price of refined soybean oil, and the consumer price index. The price of crude palm oil have negatively correlated to the crude palm oil demand for consumption, while the price of refined soybean oil and the consumer price index were positively correlated to the crude palm oil demand for consumption. (3) The factors that affected the crude palm oil demand for biodiesel production in Thailand were the price of crude palm oil, the diesel oil quantity for consumption, and the consumer price index. The price of crude palm oil was negatively correlated to the demand crude palm oil for biodiesel production, while the diesel oil quantity for consumption and the consumer price index were positively correlated to the crude palm oil demand for biodiesel production.
