Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) พระราชกรณียกิจการฟื้นฟูอาณาจักรอยุธยาของสมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราช ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2114-2148 (2) พระราชกรณียกิจการฟื้นฟูอาณาจักรอยุธยาของสมเด็จพระเอกาทศรถตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2114-2153 (3) พระราชกรณียกิจการฟื้นฟูอาณาจักรอยุธยาของสมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราชและสมเด็จพระเอกาทศรถ ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2114-2153 มีผลอย่างไรต่ออาณาจักรอยุธยาภายหลังการเสียกรุงศรีอยุธยาเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2112 การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยศึกษาจากเอกสารทางประวัติศาสตร์ เอกสารชั้นต้นของไทย คือพระราชพงศาวดารกรุงศรีอยุธยาฉบับต่าง ๆ และกฎหมายตราสามดวง เอกสารของชาวต่างชาติที่แปลเป็นภาษาไทยแล้ว วรรณกรรม และงานศึกษาต่าง ๆ ที่ตีพิมพ์แล้ว โดยวิธีการทางประวัติศาสตร์ และนํามาวิเคราะห์ตีความ เรียบเรียง และนําเสนอในรูปแบบการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนาผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) พระราชกรณียกิจการฟื้นฟูอาณาจักรอยุธยาของสมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราชตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2114- 2148 คือ การบริหารจัดการการปกครองเมืองพิษณุโลกและหัวเมืองฝ่ายเหนือ และพระราชกรณียกิจที่สําคัญ คือการประกาศอิสรภาพนําเอกราชกลับคืนมา พร้อมทั้งได้มีการรักษาป้องกันพระราชอํานาจ กษัตริย์อยุธยาและอาณาจักรไว้ได้อย่างเข้มแข็งนําความมั่นคง ความเจริญรุ่งเรืองมาสู่อาณาจักรอยุธยาจากการขยายพระราชอํานาจของพระองค์ (2) พระราชกรณียกิจการฟื้นฟูอาณาจักรอยุธยาของสมเด็จพระเอกาทศรถตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2114-2153 คือ เป็นผู้ช่วยสมเด็จพระมหาธรรมราชาพระราชบิดา และสมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราชพระเชษฐาบริหารจัดการตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย และในรัชสมัยของพระองค์เอง เป็นเวลาที่บ้านเมืองสงบ พระองค์ทรงวางรากฐานสังคม เศรษฐกิจ และความสัมพันธ์กับต่างประเทศไว้ให้กับกษัตริย์ในรัชสมัยต่อๆ มา (3) พระราชกรณียกิจการฟื้นฟูอาณาจักรอยุธยาของสมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราชและสมเด็จพระเอกาทศรถตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2114-2153 ได้ส่งผลอย่างดียิ่งต่ออาณาจักรอยุธยาคือมีความมั่นคงภายหลังการเสียกรุงศรีอยุธยาและได้ฟื้นคืนกลับมาเจริญรุ่งเรืองอีกครั้ง
This thesis aimed to study (1) the royal duties of King Naresuan the Great in restoring the Ayutthaya Kingdom in B.E. 2114 – 2148 (C.E. 1571-1605); (2) the royal duties of King Eakatotsarot in restoring the Ayutthaya Kingdom in B.E. 2114 -2153 (C.E. 1571-1610); and (3) the result of the restoration of the Ayutthaya Kingdom by King Naresuan the Great and King Eakatotsarot in B.E. 2114 – 2153 (C.E. 1571-1610) after the Ayutthaya Kingdom had been lost in B.E. 2112 (C.E. 1569). This was a qualitative research with an historical approach. Textual and contextual analysis were undertaken by studying print media, such as historical documents, Thai primary documents, such as historical annals of Ayutthaya, the Three Seals Code, etc. and foreign documents in Thai translation, along with related literature and theses. The results indicated that (1) the royal duties of King Naresuan the Great to restore the Ayutthaya Kingdom in B.E. 2114-2148 included management ofPitsanulok and the north region, and the most important of his royal duties was releasing Ayutthaya from Burmese rule and restoring independence to Ayutthaya. Also he strongly protected and developed the rights of the Ayutthaya King and the Ayutthaya Kingdom, which led to stability and progress. (2) The royal duties of King Eakatotsarot to restore the Ayutthaya Kingdom in B.E. 2114-2153 consisted of acting as an assistant to King Maha Dhammaraja, his father, and King Naresuan the Great, his brother, and managing any assignments they gave him. In his own reign, it was a prosperous and safe time of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, so he laid the foundations of social and economic stability and forged relations with foreign countries for the next king's reign. (3) The restoration of the Ayutthaya Kingdom in B.E. 2114-2153 resulted in a return to stability and prosperity accomplished by King Naresuan the Great and King Ekatotsarot. So the Ayutthaya Kingdom revived and thrived again.
