ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการผลิตมังคุดในประเทศไทย

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาสถานการณ์การผลิต การตลาดและการค้า จุดแข็ง จุดอ่อน โอกาส และอุปสรรคด้านการค้ามังคุดของประเทศไทย และ (2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัย ที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการผลิตมังคุดในประเทศไทยการศึกษาใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิมีลักษณะเป็นข้อมูลแบบอนุกรมเวลาย้อนหลังรายไตรมาส เริ่มตั้งแต่ ไตรมาสที่ 1 พ.ศ. 2555 - ไตรมาสที่ 4 พ.ศ. 2566 รวมข้อมูลทั้งสิ้น 48 ไตรมาส โดยการสร้างสมการถดถอยพหุคูณด้วยวิธีลดรูปตัวแปรเพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการผลิตมังคุด ในประเทศไทย มีตัวแปรอิสระ ได้แก่ ราคามังคุด ราคาทุเรียน ราคาลำไย ราคาปุ๋ย ปริมาณน้ำฝน อุณหภูมิสูงสุดเฉลี่ย อุณหภูมิต่ำสุดเฉลี่ย อุณหภูมิเฉลี่ย ฤดูกาล และตัวแปรตามการผลิตมังคุด ในประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ จะมีการตรวจสอบปัญหาตัวแปรอิสระมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงเส้น ปัญหาตัวคลาดเคลื่อน มีสหสัมพันธ์กัน และปัญหาตัวคลาดเคลื่อนมีความแปรปรวนไม่คงที่่ เพื่อป้องกันการละเมิดข้อสมมติจากการประมาณค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ด้วยวิธีกำลังสองน้อยที่สุดผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศเพาะปลูกมังคุดที่สำคัญของโลก ปัจจุบันปริมาณผลผลิตมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้น ซึ่งผลผลิตมังคุดจะออกสู่ตลาดมากในช่วงไตรมาสที่ 2 ถึง ไตรมาสที่ 3 ของปี โดยในปี พ.ศ. 2566 ประเทศไทยมีปริมาณผลผลิตมังคุดทั้งหมด 271,004 ตัน ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยถือเป็นประเทศผู้ส่งออกมังคุดรายใหญ่ของโลก มากกว่าร้อยละ 80 ของปริมาณผลผลิตมังคุดทั้งหมดถูกส่งออกไปขายในต่างประเทศทั้งในรูปของผลสดและผลแช่แข็ง มีตลาดส่งออกที่สำคัญ 3 ลำดับแรก ได้แก่ จีน ฮ่องกง และเวียดนาม ตามลำดับ (2) ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการผลิตมังคุดในประเทศไทย อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ อุณหภูมิสูงสุดเฉลี่ย อุณหภูมิต่ำสุดเฉลี่ย ปริมาณน้ำฝน ราคามังคุด และราคาลำไย ส่วนปัจจัยราคาทุเรียน ราคาปุ๋ย และอุณภูมิเฉลี่ย จากการทดสอบพบว่าไม่มีอิทธิพลต่อการผลิตมังคุดในประเทศไทยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ทั้งนี้ ตัวแปรอิสระที่นำมาใช้ในครั้งนี้สามารถอธิบายแบบจำลองปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการผลิตมังคุดในประเทศไทยได้ร้อยละ 88.40

The objectives of this study were to (1) study the situation of mangosteen production, marketing, and trade including a SWOT analysis of Thailand’s mangosteen trade, and (2) analyze the factors influencing the mangosteen production in Thailand.The study used secondary data, which was quarterly time series from the 1st quarter of 2012 to the 4th quarter of 2023, totaling 48 quarters. A multiple regression analysis and ordinary least squares (OLS) were used to analyze the factors influencing the mangosteen production in Thailand with independent variables are mangosteen price, durian price, longan prices, fertilizer price, rainfall, average maximum temperature, average minimum temperature, average temperature, season and dependent variable is mangosteen production in Thailand. Three issues including multicollinearity, autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity were examined to prevent violations of assumptions from estimating coefficients using OLS.The results of the study revealed that (1) Thailand is an important mangosteen growing country in the world. At present, the amount of production tends to increase. The mangosteens would be in the market during the 2nd to 3rd quarter of the year. In 2023, Thailand had a total mangosteen production of 271,004 tons. Thailand was considered the world’s largest exporter of mangosteen, with more than 80 percent of the total mangosteen production being exported to foreign countries in both fresh and frozen forms. The top three important export markets are China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, respectively. (2) The factors influencing the mangosteen production in Thailand were average maximum temperature, average minimum temperature, rainfall, mangosteen price and longan prices. The independent variables can be used to explain the quantity of mangosteen production in Thailand by 88.40 percent.
