การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะทางสังคมของเด็กที่มีความบกพร่อง ทางสติปัญญาก่อน หลังและระยะติดตามผลการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนว กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเป็นเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา อายุ 4-10 ปี ที่มี ระดับเชาวน์ปัญญา 50 -70 กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับชั้นเตรียมความพร้อมของศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ตำบลบ้านเหนืออำเภอเมือง จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 10 คน ที่ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการค้นคว้าอิสระได้แก่ 1) แบบสังเกตทักษะ ทางสังคมสำหรับเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญามีค่าความเที่ยงทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ.98 และ 2) ชุด กิจกรรมแนะแนวเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะทางสังคม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบน มาตรฐานและการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบวัดซํ้าทางเดียว ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่าหลังการทดลองและระยะติดตามผลการทดลองเด็กที่มีความบกพร่อง ทางสติปัญญามีค่าเฉลี่ยทักษะทางสังคมโดยรวมสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ .05
The purpose of this study was to compare social skills of children with mental retardation before and after using a guidance activities package to develop social skills, and during the follow up period after the experiment. The samples in this study were 10 purposively selected children with mental retardation, aged 4 – 10 years, with intelligence quotients in the range of 50 – 70. They were studying in the readiness preparation classroom at the Special Education Center of Kanchanaburi province during the first semester of the 2019 academic year. The research instruments were (1) an observation form on social skills of children with mental retardation, with reliability coefficient of .98, and (2) a guidance activities package to develop social skills. Statistics for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and one-way repeated measures ANOVA. The results of this study revealed that the post-experiment mean score and the follow-up period mean score of social skills of children with mental retardation were significantly higher than their pre-experiment counterpart mean score at the .05 level of statistical significance.
