การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาเจตคติต่อวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ แรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ความรู้เดิมในวิทยาศาสตร์ และการคิดวิเคราะห์ในวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และ 2) สร้างสมการทำนายการคิดวิเคราะห์ในวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์จากตัวแปรเจตคติต่อวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ แรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ และความรู้เดิมในวิทยาศาสตร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ของโรงเรียนสังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานในเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาชุมพร เขต 2 จำนวน 138 คน ได้มาโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบทดสอบ จำนวน 1 ฉบับ และแบบวัด จำนวน 2 ฉบับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้หาค่าสถิติพื้นฐาน ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า 1) เจตคติต่อวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ แรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ และความรู้เดิมในวิทยาศาสตร์ มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวก ต่อการคิดวิเคราะห์ในวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และ 2) สมการทำนายการคิดวิเคราะห์ในวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ในรูปคะแนนมาตรฐาน
The objectives of this research were (1) to study attitude toward science, achievement motivation, background knowledge of science, and analytical thinking in science of Prathom Suksa V students; and (2) to create a predicting equation for analytical thinking in science using attitude toward science, achievement motivation, and background knowledge of science as predicting variables. The subjects of this study were 138 Prathom Suksa V students of schools under Chumphon Primary Education Service Area Office 2, obtained by multi-stage random sampling technique. The instruments used for collecting data included a test and two assessment scales. The data were statistically analyzed with the use of the mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) attitude toward science, achievement motivation, and background knowledge of science positively correlated with analytical thinking in science at the .01 level of statistical significance; and (2) the predicting equation for analytical thinking in science in the form of standard score was Z’ = -.028ZX1 + .008ZX2 + .412ZX3
