Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) การเปิดรับสื่อและข่าวสารของนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย (2) การรับรู้ข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย ของนักศึกษา (3) ภาพลักษณ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัยในทัศนะของนักศึกษา (4) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างลักษณะประชากรของนักศึกษากับภาพลักษณ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถาม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 ถึงชั้นปีที่ 4 ประจำภาคเรียนที่ 2/2556 ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย สงขลา จำนวน 381 คน โดยใช้เกณฑ์ตามตารางสำเร็จรูปของ TARO YAMANE สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานการทดสอบค่าไคสแควร์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) การเปิดรับสื่อและข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย สงขลา ของนักศึกษาในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (2) การรับรู้ข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัยสงขลาในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (3) ภาพลักษณ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัยสงขลาในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัยมีจุดเด่นคือ เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาที่มีนักศึกษา/บัณฑิตที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญเทคโนโลยี มีทักษะปฏิบัติ และ (4) เพศของนักศึกษาที่แตกต่างกันมีความสัมพันธ์กับภาพลักษณ์มหาวิทยาลัยด้านทำนุบำรุงศาสนาวัฒนธรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อม อายุของนักศึกษาที่แตกต่างกันมีความสัมพันธ์กับภาพลักษณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ด้านเทคโนโลยีและวิชาชีพ ชั้นปีที่ศึกษามีความสัมพันธ์กับภาพลักษณ์มหาวิทยาลัยด้านเทคโนโลยีและวิชาชีพ ด้านงานวิจัยและสิ่งประดิษฐ์ ด้านบริการวิชาการแก่สังคม และด้านทำนุบำรุงศาสนา วัฒนธรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อม คณะที่ศึกษามีความสัมพันธ์กับภาพลักษณ์มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัยในด้านทำนุบำรุงศาสนา วัฒนธรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อม
The objectives of this research were to study: (1) Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya students' exposure to media and news; (2) their perceptions of news about the university; (3) the university's image in their views; and (4) relationships between the students' demographic data and their image of the university. This was a survey research. The research tool was a questionnaire. The sample population consisted of 381 year 1 to year 4 undergraduate students enrolled at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya in the second semester of the 2013 academic year, with sample size selected using the Taro Yamane method. Data were statistically analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and chi square. The results showed that (1) overall, the students surveyed were exposed to news about Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya to a medium level. (2) Their perception of news about the university was at a medium level. (3) Overall, their image of the university was medium. They perceived that the university's strong point was that its students and graduates were expert in technology and had practical skills. (4) The demographic factor of sex was related to the students' image of the university in the aspect of preserving religion, culture and environment. The factor of age was related to the students' image of the university in the aspect of technology and professionalism. The factor of year of study was related to the students' image of the university in the aspects of technology and professionalism, research and inventions, academic services for society, and preserving religion, culture and the environment. The factor of field of study was related to the students' image of the university in the aspect of preserving religion, culture and environment
