การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการการพัฒนาองค์การ ในโรงเรียน
มัธยมศึกษา ในเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาสุรินทร์และเปรียบเทียบความต้องการการพัฒนาองค์การ
จำแนกตามขนาดโรงเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ เป็นโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา จำนวน
70 โรงเรียน และกำหนดผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นครูและบุคลากรทางการศึกษา จำนวน 665 คน เครื่องมือ
ที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.96 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าความถี่ ค่า
ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน และการการเปรียบเทียบ

การศึกษาสุรินทร์ ใน 14 องค์ประกอบ 55 ตัวบ่งชี้ พบว่า (1) โรงเรียนขนาดเล็ก ขนาดกลาง และ
ขนาดใหญ่ มีความต้องการการพัฒนาองค์การในระดับมากอยู่ 3 องค์ประกอบ คือ บรรยากาศใน
การทำงานของโรงเรียน การจูงใจ และความร่วมมือของสมาชิกในการทำงาน ความต้องการ
พัฒนาองค์การในระดับปานกลางอยู่ 10 องค์ประกอบ คือ วัตถุประสงค์ของโรงเรียน ลักษณะการ
ติดต่อสื่อสาร ภาวะผู้นำของผู้บริหาร ลักษณะความขัดแย้ง ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสมาชิก แบบ
แผนของการตัดสินใจ การทำงานเป็นทีมหรือลักษณะทีมงาน การยอมรับซึ่งกันและกัน ด้าน
ทรัพยากรของโรงเรียนและความรู้สึกเป็นอิสระในการทำงานของสมาชิก ความต้องการพัฒนา
องค์การในระดับน้อยอยู่ 1 องค์ประกอบ คือ โครงสร้างของโรงเรียน (2) โรงเรียนขนาดเล็ก
โรงเรียนขนาดกลาง และโรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่ มีความต้องการพัฒนาองค์การในภาพรวมไม่
แตกต่างกัน แต่เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายองค์ประกอบ พบว่า มี 7 องค์ประกอบทีมีความต้องการการ
พัฒนาองค์การแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
The purposes of this research were to study the conditions of needs for organizational development in secondary schools in Surin Educational Service Area and to compare the conditions of needs for organization development in schools of different sizes. The employed research sample consisted of 70 secondary schools. Research informants consisted of 665 teachers and educational personnel. The employed research instrument was a questionnaire with .96 reliability coefficient. Data were analyzed with a computer program. Statistics employed for data analysis were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, analysis of variance, and Scheffe method for pair-wise comparison. Research findings on the needs for organizational development of secondary schools in Surin Educational Service Area in 14 components and 55 indicators were as follows: (1) Small, medium sized, and large schools had the needs for organizational development at the high level in three components, namely, school work environment, motivation, and cooperation in work performance of the school personnel; while they had the needs for organizational development at the moderate level in ten components, namely, school objectives, pattern of communication, administrator's leadership, nature of conflicts, colleague relationship, pattern of decision making, team working or team work characteristics, mutual acceptance, school resources, and the staff's sense of independence in work performance; on the other hand, they had the needs for organizational development at the low level in only one component, that is, the school structure. (2) Small, medium sized, and large schools did not significantly differ in their overall needs for organizational. However when the comparison was undertaken by component, it was found that their needs for organizational development were significantly different in seven components at the .05 level.
