การใช้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษา : กรณีศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการใช้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบสภาพการใช้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษาจำแนกตามสำนักวิชาและขั้นตอนการปฏิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษาและ (3) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาการใช้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษา ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีที่ออกปฎิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษา ภาคการศึกษาที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2550 จำนวน 354 คน การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามและได้รับกลับคืน จำนวน 307 ฉบับ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 86.72 ของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามทั้งหมด สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลครั้งนี้ได้แก่ ร้อยล่ะ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าทีและการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) นักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษาใช้สารสนเทศในช่วงเวลาการปฏิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษาทั้ง 3 ช่วงอยู่ในระดับเดียวกัน คือ ระดับมาก ได้แก่ ในขั้นเตรียมความพร้อมและสมัครเข้าปฏิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษาใช้เพื่อศึกษาข้อมูลการเขียนจดหมายสมัครงาน ในขั้นระหว่างการปฎิบัติงาน ณ สถานประกอบการใช้เพื่อประกอบการจัดทำโครงการที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากสถานประกอบการ และในขั้นการเขียนรายงานและนำเสนอผลงานภายหลังจากเสร็จสิ้นการปฏิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษาใช้เพื่อการนำเสนอ ผลงานการปฏิบัติงานในสถานประกอบการ (2) การเปรียบเทียบสภาพการใช้สารสนเทศด้านสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์จำแนกตามช่วงเวลาการปฏิบัติงานพบว่า นักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษาใช้สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในช่วงเวลาการปฏิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษาทั้ง 3 ช่วงมีสภาพการใช้แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติระดับ .05 ในดัานเว็บไซต์โครงการสหกิจศึกษาและพัฒนาอาชีพ โดยนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษาใช้เว็บไซต์ โครงการสหกิจศึกษาและพัฒนาอาชีพในช่วงที่ 1 คือช่วงในขั้นเตรียมความพร้อมและสมัครปฎิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษาแตกต่างจากช่วงที่ 3 คือช่วงขั้นการเขียนรายงานและนำเสนอผลงานภายหลังจากเสร็จสิ้นการปฏิบัติงานสหกิจศึกษา และช่วงที่ 2 คือช่วงขั้นระหว่างปฏิบัติงาน ณ สถานประกอบการ โดยที่ช่วงที่ 1 ใช้มากที่สุดและช่วงที่ 2 ใช้น้อยที่สุด (3) ปัญหาการใช้สารสนเทศแต่ละช่วงที่พบของนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษาภาพโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับน้อย

The purposes of this research were to 1) study information use by cooperative education students of Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), 2) compare information use by cooperative education students classified by institutes and working procedure of cooperative education and 3) study problems of information use for cooperative education students. The research population was 354 cooperative students who performed at various workplaces in the second semester of 2007 academic year. The research was a survey research. Data were collected through a questionnaire. Three hundred and fifty four copies of the questionnaire were distributed to the all research population and 307 of them, comparable to 86.72%, were returned by respondents. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way Analysis of Variance. The research results showed that: 1) The cooperative education students use information in 3 cooperative education working phases with a same mean at “much level” that were in the preparation and job application phase of the cooperative education, the students used information for studying regarding writing application letters to workplaces, in working at workplace phase, the students used information for supporting their projects as assigned by workplaces. And in report writing and performance presentation phase, after completion of working workplaces, the students used information for presentation of their workplace performances. 2) Comparison of information use of electronic form classified by cooperative education working phases found that cooperative education students used electronic information with statistical significant difference at 0.05. That was, in the preparation and job application phase, the students searched information from the web site of the Cooperative Education and Career Development differently from in the report writing and performance presentation phase and the working at workplace phase. It was shown that in the preparation and job application phase, students used information of electronic form the most and in the working at the workplace phase, they used it the least. 3) Problem of information use in each phase found by cooperative education students in general was at the “low” level
