Abstract
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาระดับความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทองใน 3 ด้านคือ ด้านการศึกษา ด้านการฝึกวิชาชีพ ด้านการพัฒนาจิตใจ (2) เปรียบเทียบความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทอง จำแนกตามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (3) เสนอแนวทางในการพัฒนาตนเองของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทองใน 3 ด้านคือ ด้านการศึกษา ด้านการฝึกวิชาชีพ ด้านการพัฒนาจิตใจ การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงสำรวจ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบสอบถาม ประชากรคือ ผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทอง จำนวน 1,580 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทอง จำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 320 คน โดยใช้สูตร Yamane ที่ความ เชื่อมั่น 0.95 และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติโดยใช้ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และการทดสอบเป็นรายคู่ โดยวิธีการของเชฟเฟ่ ผลการศึกษาสรุปได้ดังนี้ (1) ผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทองมีความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากและเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่าผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำจังหวัดอ่างทองมีความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองอยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้าน เรียงตามลำดับ ได้แก่ ด้านการศึกษา ด้านการฝึกวิชาชีพ และด้านการพัฒนาจิตใจ (2) ผู้ต้องขังที่มี เพศ อายุ ระยะเวลาที่ต้องโทษต่างกันมีความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองโดยรวม และรายด้านไม่แตกต่างกัน ส่วนผู้ต้องขังที่มีระดับการศึกษา สถานภาพสมรสก่อนต้องโทษ อาชีพก่อนต้องโทษต่างกันมีความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองโดยรวม และรายด้านแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (3) ข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับความต้องการพัฒนาตนเองของผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำ จังหวัดอ่างทองที่สำคัญ คือ ด้านการศึกษาเรือนจำควรให้สิทธิประโยชน์แก่ผู้ต้องขังที่ตั้งใจศึกษาโดยให้ญาติสามารถเข้าเยี่ยมผู้ต้องขังภายในเรือนจำอย่างใกล้ชิด ด้านการฝึกวิชาชีพ เรือนจำควรเน้นการฝึกวิชาชีพด้านช่างฝีมือต่างๆ ให้มีความหลากหลายสาขามากกว่าวิชาชีพที่มีอยู่ในปัจจุบัน ด้านการพัฒนา จิตใจเรือนจำควรให้สิทธิประโยชน์ในการเลื่อนชั้นแก่ผู้ต้องขังที่เข้าร่วมโครงการอบรมพัฒนาจิตใจ
The aim of this research are: (1) to study level of need for self-development prisoners of Ang Thong Provincial Prison in terms of 3 aspects: education, vocational training, and mental development. (2) to compare the need for self-development prisoners of Ang Thong Provincial Prison distinguish Personal information (3) to study the suggestion that contribute to the self-development prisoners of Ang Thong Provincial Prison in terms of 3 aspects: education, vocational training, and mental development This study is a survey research and using a questionnaire for data collection Prison inmates, a population of 1,580 people in Ang Thong. A sample group of 320 Ang Thong Provincial Prison chosen through simple random sampling. using Yamane Taro Formula with a level of reliability of 0.95, while the data analysis was conducted in the form of percentages, averages, standard deviation , One-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s method is used. Research Conclusion (1) The prisoners of Ang Thong Provincial Prison selfdevelopment on a number of levels and when each element is considered individually, the prisoners need self-development in many of these aspects as well. The levels can be listed accordingly as follows: education, vocational training and mental development. (2) The prisoners different with sex age penalty have needs for self-development not different. And the prisoners different with Education level marital status career have needs for self-development different (3) The kinds ofsuggestions related to the need for self-development prisoners of Ang Thong Provincial Prison. Education should provide incentives for inmates by visit relatives. Vocational training should focus on vocational training to the artisans in a variety of fields. And Mental development should benefits of mobility for inmates participating in training mental development.
