Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ประวัติความเป็นมาของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอดงหลวง จังหวัดมุกดาหาร (2) การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอดงหลวง จังหวัดมุกดาหาร (3) การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอดงหลวง จังหวัดมุกดาหาร (4) ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอดงหลวง จังหวัดมุกดาหาร วิธีการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ข้าราชการ 2 ราย ผู้นำชุมชน 11 ราย ชาวบ้าน 3 ราย และอดีตสมาชิกพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์แห่งประเทศไทย 1 ราย รวม 17 ราย โดยใช้เครื่องมือ ได้แก่
แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบสังเกต และแบบสำรวจชุมชน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเป็นการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) คำว่า “ บรู ” แปลว่า ภูเขา คนไทยและลาวจะเรียกกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ บรู ว่า “ข่า ” หรือ “ข้า ” หมายความว่า คนใช้ หรือข้าทาส ประวัติความเป็นมาของชาติพันธุ์ บรู เดิมมีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ที่แขวงสะหวันเขต แขวงสาละวัน และแชวงอัตตะปือ ส่วนประวัติความเป็นมาของ บรู ที่จังหวัดมุกดาหาร พบว่า อพยพมาอยู่ในท้องที่จังหวัดมุกดาหารในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 3 กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ บรู อยู่ในชาติพันธุ์เดียวกันกับขอมหรือเขมร ภาษาบรูเป็นภาษาในตระกูล ออสโตรเอเชียติค มีแต่ภาษาพูด ไม่มีภาษาเขียน (2) การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอดงหลวง พบว่า เป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงในด้านครอบครัว ชุมชน สหจร และชนชั้น (3) การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอ
ดงหลวง จังหวัดมุกดาหาร พบว่า เป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านศาสนา การบริโภค ภาษา การนันทนาการ การศึกษา สาธารณสุข การสื่อสารคมนาคม (4) ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมของชาติพันธุ์ บรู ในตำบลกกตูม อำเภอดงหลวง จังหวัดมุกดาหาร พบว่า มี 2 ปัจจัย ได้แก่ ปัจจัยภายในหรือปัจจัยทางจิตวิทยา เช่น ความกดดันจากการถูกดูถูก การปรับตัวจากการพัฒนาในด้านต่าง ๆ และปัจจัยภายนอก เช่นความขัดแย้งทางการเมือง การต่อสู้ด้วยกำลังอาวุธของพรรคอมมิวนิสต์แห่งประเทศไทย นโยบายการพัฒนาของรัฐบาล โครงการพัฒนาพื้นที่ลุ่มน้ำห้วยบางทรายตอนบน อันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ และการพัฒนาในด้านต่าง ๆ
The objective of this research was to study (1) the history of the Bru ethnic group in Kok Tum Sub-district, Dong Luang District, Mukdahan Province; (2) social changes in the group; (3) cultural changes in the group; and (4) factors that affected those social and cultural changes. This was a qualitative research. The key informants consisted of 2 government employees, 11 community leaders, 3 villagers, and 1 former member of the Communist Party of Thailand of 17. Data were collected using an in-depth interview form, an observation form, and a community survey form. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) the word “Bru” means “mountain.” Thai and Lao people call the Bru “Kha,” which means “servant” or “slave.” The Bru originally came from the provinces of Savannakhet, Salavan and Attapeu in Laos. The group that lives in Mukdahan Province migrated there since the reign of King Rama III (1824-1851). The Bru are part of the Khmer group. The Bru language belongs to the Austro-asiatic group. It is a spoken language with no written alphabet. (2) Social changes that have occurred in the Bru ethnic group in Kok Tum Sub-district, Dong Luang District, Mukdahan Province are changes involving the family, community, social classes, and association. (3) Cultural changes are changes involvingreligion, consumption, language, entertainment, education, public health and communication. (4) Internal and psychological factors that affected these changes were pressure from being looked down on and adjustments following various kinds of development. External factors were political conflict, armed opposition by the Communist Party of Thailand, the Thai government’s development policies, the Upper Huay Bang Sai Creek Cathcment Area Development Project Under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, and other developments.
