Abstract
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) สร้างหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมเรื่อง “ขมิ้นชัน” สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนสุราษฎร์ธานี 2 จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี และ (2) ประเมินความคิดเห็นของครูและนักเรียนที่มีต่อหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมเรื่อง “ขมิ้นชัน” สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนสุราษฎร์ธานี ๒ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ผู้ให้ข้อมูลในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ ครูผู้สอนในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์จำนวน 10 คน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2555 โรงเรียนสุราษฎร์ธานี 2 จำนวน 48 คนที่ได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมเรื่อง “ขมิ้นชัน” แบบประเมินความคิดเห็นของครูที่มีต่อหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม และแบบประเมินความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง ขมิ้นชัน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ประกอบด้วย 4 บท ได้แก่ บทที่ 1 ลักษณะพื้นฐานของขมิ้นชัน บทที่ 2 สภาพแวดล้อมที่เหมาะต่อการเจริญเติบโต บทที่ 3 การจัดการการผลิต และบทที่ 4 การใช้ประโยชน์จากขมิ้นชัน และ (2) ผลการประเมินความคิดเห็นของครูและนักเรียนที่มีต่อหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมเรื่อง ขมิ้นชัน พบว่า ลักษณะการจัดรูปเล่ม ลักษณะของเนื้อหา ลักษณะการจัดภาพ และการใช้ภาษา มีความเหมาะสม อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ด้านคุณค่าและประโยชน์ ครูและนักเรียนคิดว่าหนังสือมีคุณค่าและมีประโยชน์ในการนำไปใช้จริงอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
The purposes of this research were (1) to construct a supplementary reading entitled Turmeric (Curcuma Longa L.) for Mathayom Suksa IV students at Surat Thani 2 School in Surat Thani province; and (2) to evaluate science teachers’ and Mathayom Suksa IV students’ opinions toward the supplementary reading entitled Turmeric (Curcuma Longa L.) for Mathayom Suksa IV students at Surat Thani 2 School in Surat Thani province. The informants for this study included 10 science teachers and 48 Mathayom Suksa IV students who were studying in the second semester of academic year 2012 at Surat Thani 2 School in Surat Thani province, obtained by purposive sampling. The instruments employed in this study were a supplementary reading entitled Turmeric (Curcuma Longa L.), an evaluation form on teacher’s opinions toward the supplementary reading, and an evaluation form on student’s opinions toward the supplementary reading. Statistics for data analysis were the mean and standard deviation. The findings of this study revealed that (1) the developed supplementary reading entitled Turmeric (Curcuma Longa L.) for Mathayom Suksa IV students at Surat Thani 2 School in Surat Thani province contained 4 chapters, namely, Chapter 1: Basic Characteristics of Turmeric; Chapter 2: Proper Environment for Its Growth; Chapter 3: Production Management for Turmeric; and Chapter 4: Benefits of Turmeric; and (2) opinions toward the developed supplementary reading entitled Turmeric of the science teachers and Mathayom Suksa V students were that the arrangement of the book, its contents, its illustration, and language usage were appropriate at the highest level; also, the book’s value and usability in the real classroom situation were appropriate at the highest level.
