Abstract
งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ประวัติความเป็นมาของชุมชนของชาวมอญบางกระดี่ เขตบางขุนเทียน กรุงเทพมหานคร (2) บริบทและรูปแบบการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของชุมชนชาวมอญบางกระดี่ (3) ปัญหาและอุปสรรคการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของชุมชนมอญบางกระดี่ (4) แนวทางในการอนุรักษ์ และพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของชุมชนมอญบางกระดี่วิธีการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยแบ่งกลุ่มตัวอย่างออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก จำนวน 12 คน ได้แก่ ผู้นำชุมชน ผู้รู้เกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม และผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจด้านการท่องเที่ยวในชุมชน และกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลทั่วไป จำนวน 5 คนได้แก่ ประชากรที่อาศัยในพื้นที่ตั้งแต่ 15 ปี ขึ้นไปรวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 17 คน โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยจากการศึกษาเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่เป็นทางการ การสังเกตและการสำรวจชุมชน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเป็นการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนาผลการวิจัยพบวา (1) ชุมชนชาวมอญบางกระดี่ เขตบางขุนเทียน กรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นชุมชนที่่ตั้งอยู่ริมน้ำที่มีลักษณะเก่าแก่ อายุมากกว่า 150 ปี เป็นชุมชนขนาดใหญ่ที่ยังรักษาวัฒนธรรมประเพณีดั้งเดิมไว้ได้เป็นอย่างดี ในอดีตการสัญจรใช้ทางน้ำโดยใช้คลองสนามชัยเป็นเส้นทางหลักเข้าสู่กรุงเทพมหานคร ชุมชนชาวมอญบางกระดี่ ยังคงมีรูปแบบและวัฒนธรรมที่เก่าแก่แบบจารีต โดยพิจารณาจากสถาปัตยกรรมและสิ่งก่อสร้าง เช่น เจดีย์ พระพุทธรูป วัตถุโบราณที่ได้รวบรวมไว้ รวมถึง ภาษาที่ใช้ ระบบเครือญาติ ซึ่งรูปแบบวัฒนธรรมมีการปฏิบัติเป็นแบบแผนเดียวกันกับวัฒนธรรมชาวมอญสมุทรสาคร จึงสรุปได้ว่าชุมชนมอญบางกระดี่อพยพมาจากจังหวัดสมุทรสาคร โดยมาตั้งเป็นชุมชนใหม่ ในราวปลายรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยูหัว (2) บริบทและรูปแบบการท่องเที่ยวของชุมชนชาวมอญบางกระดี่ ได้แก่ การจัดกิจกรรมโปรแกรมการท่องเที่ยวของศูนย์ศิลปวัฒนธรรม และทรัพยากรทางวัฒนธรรมที่ส่งเสริมด้านการท่องเที่ยว ประกอบด้วยวัดบางกระดี่ เทศกาลต่าง ๆ เช่น เทศกาลสงกรานต์ ประเพณีเล่นสะบ้า การทรงเจ้าพอบางกระดี่ เทศกาลทำบุญกลางหมู่บ้าน ดนตรีวงทะแยมอญ การสานกก ทำจาก และทำแส้ เป็นต้น (3) ปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ ปัญหาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เช่น ปัญหาขยะในลำคลอง น้ำท่วม ปัญหาบุคลากร เช่น ขาดผู้นำชุมชนปัญหาความเป็นอยู่ของชุมชน และปัญหาสังคม เช่นปัญหายาเสพติดและการลักขโมย (4) ส่วนแนวทางการอนุรักษ์การท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ การสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเพื่อให้สมาชิกในชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมมากขึ้นโดยเฉพาะเยาวชนคนรุ่นใหม่ให้รู้สึกหวงแหนวัฒนธรรมของตน และแนวทางการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ การเพิ่มศักยภาพให้ชุมชนสามารถบริหารจัดการการท่องเที่ยวให้มีประสิทธิภาพ และยั่งยืน จัดพื้นที่ให้มีความสอดคล้องกับยุคสมัยของประเพณี
The objectives of this research were to study: (1) the history of the Mon community at Bang Kradee, Bangkhuntien District, Bangkok; (2) the context and forms of cultural tourism in that community; (3)problems with cultural tourism in the community; and (4) approaches to preserving the community’s culture and developing culturaltourism in the community. This was a qualitative research. The sample consisted of 2 groups. The first group of 12 key informants comprised leaders of the Mon community at Bang Kradee, Bangkhuntien District, Bangkok; people knowledgeable about cultural tourism; and tourism business operators in the Mon community at Bang Kradee. The second group of informants consisted of 5 residents of the community aged 15 or older. Data were collected from related documents, informal interviews, observation and a community survey. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) the Mon community at Bang Kradee is a canal-side community that is more than 150 years old. It is a large community that has preserved its cultural traditions. In the past, most transportation was by water and people in the community used the Sanamchai Canal to travel to and from Bangkok. Mon traditional culture is preserved in the local architecture, especially stupas, Buddha images, and collected antiques, as well as in the people’s language and the family structure. Most of the cultural characteristics are the same as those of the Mon community in Samut Sakhon Province, so it can be surmised that the Mons of Bang Kradee moved there from Samut Sakhon to establish a new community around near the end of the reign of King Rama IV. (2) Cultural tourism in the Mon community at Bang Kradee comprises tours and activities organized by the Arts and Culture Center and cultural resources that are used to promote tourism, such as Wat Bang Kradee Temple, local celebrations such as the Songkran Festival, the Saba tradition, the Bang Kradee spirit channeling ceremony, the neighborhood merit making celebration, Tayae Mon music performances, reed weaving, making nipa palm roofing and making nipa palm mosquito whisks. (3) Problems with cultural tourism in the community included environmental problems like litter in the canals and flooding; human resources problems such as a lack of community leaders, and social or lifestyle problems such as drug addiction and theft. (4) An approach to preserving the local culture is to promote learning and understanding, especially among the younger generations, so that members of the community will see the value of participating more in cultural preservation. Approaches to developing cultural tourism in the community are to build up the capabilities of the local people so that they can manage tourism more efficiently and sustainably, and to manage the available space so that it is suitable for hosting the traditions in the modern era.
