Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) สภาพเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของเกษตรกร 2) ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรของเกษตรกร 3) ความต้องการการส่งเสริมสวนสับปะรดภูเก็ตให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร และ 4) แนวทางการพัฒนาสวนสับปะรดภูเก็ตให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่ เป็นเพศชาย อายุเฉลี่ย 55.97 ปี ส่วนมากได้รับการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา สมาชิกในครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 4 คน พื้นที่ถือครองเฉลี่ย 24.14 ไร่ พื้นที่ปลูกสับปะรดเฉลี่ย 26.042 ไร่ ส่วนใหญ่เช่าพื้นที่หรือใช้พื้นที่สวนยางพาราของบุคคลอื่น ปริมาณผลผลิตสับปะรดเฉลี่ยต่อไร่เฉลี่ย 3.2 ตัน เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่ ปลูกสับปะรดภูเก็ตแซมสวนยางพารา ต้นทุนการผลิตเฉลี่ยต่อไร่เฉลี่ย 14,867.22 บาท รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อไร่เฉลี่ย 28,322 บาท เกษตรกรร้อยละ 58.3 มีความคิดเห็นว่าสวนสับปะรดภูเก็ตสามารถพัฒนาเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรได้ 2) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่ยังขาดความรู้เรื่องการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรในประเด็น ประเภทของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร การเตรียมความพร้อมของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร การจัดการสิ่งอานวยความสะดวกและกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร การจัดการอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม และของฝาก และที่พักแรม 3) เกษตรกรมีความต้องการการส่งเสริมความรู้ในระดับปานกลาง ด้านความรู้เรื่องการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร ต้องการความรู้ทุกประเด็นในระดับปานกลางผ่านช่องทางเจ้าหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการเกษตร เกษตรกรผู้นา และอินเทอร์เน็ต ต้องการวิธีการส่งเสริมสวนสับปะรดภูเก็ตให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรในระดับปานกลาง จากการทัศนศึกษา การฝึกอบรม การประชุมกลุ่ม และการสาธิต 4) แนวทางการพัฒนาสวนสับปะรดภูเก็ตให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรได้แก่ พัฒนาตัวเกษตรกรในด้านความรู้ ส่งเสริมให้มีการรวมกลุ่มกันอย่างเข้มแข็ง พัฒนาเจ้าหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการเกษตรและเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องในด้านความรู้เรื่องการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร พัฒนาสวนสับปะรดภูเก็ตให้มีความพร้อมเพื่อรองรับการท่องเที่ยว จัดกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรให้มีความหลากหลาย มีการบูรณาการระหว่างหน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐ และเอกชน ส่งเสริมให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรประเภทแหล่งผลิตหรือพื้นที่เฉพาะทางการเกษตร และประชาสัมพันธ์สับปะรดภูเก็ตให้เป็นที่รู้จักอย่างกว้างขวาง
The purposes of this research were to study 1) socio-economic status of farmers, 2) farmers’ knowledge of agro-tourism, 3) agro-tourism extension needs for Phuket pineapple plantation, 4) guidelines for developing pineapple plantation as agro-tourism destination. The population in this study was a total of 54 persons comprising 36 pineapple farmers, six community leaders, 12 representatives of Local Administration Organization and representatives from relevant government agencies dealing with promotion of pineapple plantation tourist destination in Phuket Province. To obtain data, farmers were interviewed, community leaders and agency representatives were asked by using questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics including percentage, minimum value, maximum value mean, and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows: 1) most of farmers were male with an average age of 55.97 years and completed primary education; the average number of family member was 4 persons, having the average occupied land 24.14 rai (1 rai = 1,600 square meters); the average pineapple plantation area was 26.042 rai mostly on rented land or in the para rubber plantation of other farmers; the average pineapple product was 3.2 ton per rai; most of farmers grew pineapple as intercropping in rubber plantation; the average pineapple production cost was 14,867.22 baht/rai; the average income was 28,322 baht/rai; 58.3% of them pointed out that pineapple plantation in Phuket Province could be developed as agro-tourism destination. 2) Most of farmers didn’t have knowledge of agro-tourism particularly on type of agro-tourism, preparation for agro-tourism destination, facility management and agro-tourism activity, management of food, beverage, souvenir, and accommodation. 3) The farmers had required knowledge extension in agro-tourism at medium level in every aspects through the channel of the agricultural extensionist, agricultural leader, and internet. They also needed to know at medium level in the method to promote Phuket pineapple plantation as agro-tourism destination by study visit, training, focus group, and demonstration. Furthermore 4) the guidelines for developing Phuket pineapple plantation as agro-tourism destination included developing farmers’ knowledge on agro-tourism, developing readiness and preparation to serve tourism, organizing diverse agro-tourism activities, integrating between public and private sector organization, promoting as agro-tourism destination, the type of production site or specific agricultural area and for making Phuket pineapple widely known.
