กรณีศึกษาคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำในวิชาชีพการพยาบาลของรองศาสตราจารย์พรจันทร์ สุวรรณชาต

Abstract

การวิจัยแบบกรณีศึกษามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำในวิชาชีพ การพยาบาล และ (2) ศึกษาปัจจัยส่งเสริมที่ทำให้เกิดความสำเร็จของภาวะผู้นำในวิชาชีพการพยาบาล แหล่งข้อมูล ประกอบด้วยเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง กรณีศึกษา คือ รองศาสตราจารย์พรจันทร์ สุวรรณชาต และผู้เกี่ยวข้องกับกรณีศึกษา ได้แก่ ผู้บังคับบัญชา เพื่อนร่วมงานในสภาการพยาบาล เพื่อนร่วมงาน บัณฑิตมหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช เครื่องมือในการศึกษาผู้ศึกษาพัฒนาขึ้นเอง คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์กรณีศึกาและผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ที่ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงของเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงวุฒิจำนวน 3 ท่าน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) คุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำในวิชาชีพการพยาบาลของ รองศาสตราจารย์พรจันทร์ สุวรรณชาต ประกอบด้วย 1) มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อวิชาชีพ 2) อุทิศตนเพื่อวิชาชีพ 3) มีความเป็นนักวิชาการและเชี่ยวชาญในงาน 4) มีความริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์และพัฒนางานใหม่เสมอ 5) กล้าหาญและตรวจสอบ 6) มุ่งมั่นและอดทนกับงานเสมอ 7) กล้าคิดและกล้าเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อทำงานให้บรรลุเป้าหมายโดยไม่หวังผลตอบแทน 8) มีบุคลิกสง่างามน่าเกรงขาม และมีความสามารถในการประสานงาน 9) มีคุณธรรมจริยธรรม 10) เป็นคนซื่อสัตย์สุจริตยุติธรรมและยึดความถูกต้องในการทำงาน 11) มีความหนักถึงความเปลี่ยนแปลง 12) เป็นผู้มีวิสัยทัศน์กว้างไกล 13) ดำเนินชีวิตโดยยึดหลักธรรมคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนา 14) เป็นนักพัฒนา เป็นผู้สร้างงาน 15) มีความสามารถในการบริหารจัดการ และ16) เป็นผู้เรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต (2) ปัจจัยส่งเสริมความสำเร็จภาวะผู้นำในวิชาชีพการพยาบาล ได้แก่ 1) การอบรมเลี้ยงดูจากครอบครัว หล่อหลอมให้เกิดคุณลักษณะผู้นำ มีความซื่อสัตย์ และกตัญญูกตเวที 2) การมีกัลยาณมิตรที่ดีที่ส่งเสริมความสำเร็จ 3) การได้รับโอกาสที่ดีจากผู้บังคับบัญชาและเพื่อนร่วมงาน ผู้วิจัยได้นำผลการศึกษาเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีในการประกอบวิชาชีพการพยาบาลและธุรกิจส่วนตัว นอกจากนั้นผลการศึกษายังจะเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาภาวะผู้นำของผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพหน่วยงาน องค์กร และสังคมต่อไป

The purposes of a case study research were: 1) to explore the leadership characteristics in the nursing profession, and 2) to study determining factors which led to be a leader in the nursing profession Data resources included related documents and personnel. The first was Associate Professor Pornchan Suwannachatand. The rest was selected by Associate Professor Pornchan Suwannachatand including a director, two co-workers, nursing graduates from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. Research tools which were developed by the researcher comprised in-depth interviews and were verified by 3 experts. The study results showed as follows. (1) The leadership characteristics of Associate Professor Pornchan Suwannachat consisted of the following 16 categories: 1) a positive attitude to the nursing profession, 2) devoting to the nursing profession, 3) having both academic and expert in her career, 4) a creative thinker and always developed new jobs, 5) brave and determined, 6) remarkable endurance and great courage throughout her work, 7) dare to think and to change to meet her goals and did not want anything in return, 8) magnificent characters and ability to coordinate, 9) high moral and ethical standards, 10) an honest and fair person, 10) do the right things for her work, 11) awareness of changes, 12) a visionary leader, 13) lead her life by using dharma, 14) a developer and job creator, having ability in administration and management, and a lifelong learner. (2) Factors determining the selection of Associate Professor Pornchan Suwannachat to receive the award were as follows. 1) Parents took good care of their child to have leadership, honesty, and to be grateful. 2) A nurse needs to have good friends who will support her. Finally, 3) the director and colleagues provided good opportunities for her. The researcher has used these findings in her nursing career and business enterprises. Furthermore, these findings will be guidelines for developing professional leadership, departments, organizations, and society
