การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลการสนับสนุนทางสังคม การมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงานและการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน และ (2) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล การสนับสนุนทางสังคม กับการมี
ส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงานกับการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน อำเภอดำเนินสะดวก จังหวัดราชบุรี ประชากรที่ศึกษา คือ อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน อำเภอดำเนินสะดวก จังหวัดราชบุรี จำนวน 1,283 คน เลือกตัวอย่างโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย ได้จำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ใช้แบบสอบถาม ที่มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.96 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบไคสแคว์ และสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่ผา (1) อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน มีอายุเฉลี่ย 50.37 ปี ร้อยละ 59.2 จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ครอบครัวมีรายได้เฉลี่ย 14,978.05 บาทต่อเดือน ประสบการณ์ในการเป็นอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านเฉลี่ย 10.54 ปี และส่วนใหญ่เคยได้รับการอบรมพัฒนาศักยภาพเกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพ ทั้งนี้ปัจจัยการสนับสนุนทางสังคม โดยรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับสูง ส่วนการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพ โดยรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และมีการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพ โดยรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และ (2) การอบรมพัฒนาในด้านทันตสุขภาพ มีปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ได้แก่ ระดับการศึกษา ความสัมพันธ์กับการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพ ปัจจัยการสนับสนุนทางสังคมมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกในระดับปานกลาง กับการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพ และปัจจัยการมีส่วนร่วมมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกในระดับสูงกับการดำเนินงานด้านทันตสุขภาพ
This survey research aimed: (1) to identify personal factors and levels of social support, participation and operations, of dental health activities; and (2) to determine the relationships between personal factors, social support and participation and dental health operations, all of village health volunteers (VHVs) in Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province. The research involved a sample of 400 VHVs selected using simple random sampling from all 1,283 VHVs in the district. A questionnaire with the reliability value of 0.96 was used in data collection and then data were analyzed to determine mean, percentage, standard deviation, chi-square test and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. The results showed that: (1) among all VHVs/respondents, their average age was 50.37 years and 59.2% finished primary school. They had an average family income of 14,978 baht per month and 10.54 years of VHV work experience; and the majority had been trained in basic dental health. The levels of social support, overall and for each factor, were high, but moderate for overall and each aspect of dental health program participation and operations; and (2) VHVs' personal factors; educational background and training in dental health were related to dental health operations, whereas social support was moderately positive related to dental health operations, and their participation had a highly positive relationship with such operations.
