ผลการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนวที่มีผลต่อการควบคุมตนของผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำกลางบางขวาง

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการควบคุมตนของ ผู้ต้องขังกลุ่มทดลองก่อนและหลังใช้ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนว และ (2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการควบคุมตนของผู้ต้องขังกลุ่มทดลองกับระยะติดตามผล กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ต้องขังฝ่ายควบคุมแดน 6 เรือนจำกลางบางขวาง ที่ได้มาโดยการเลือก แบบเจาะจงที่มีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อการควบคุมตนจากทะเบียนประวัติฝ่ายควบคุมแดน 6 จำนวน 20 คน ผู้วิจัยดำเนินการกับกลุ่มทดลองโดยใช้ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนวเพื่อการควบคุมตนที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น จำนวน 6 ครั้ง ครั้งละ 50 นาที เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ (1) ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนวเพื่อการ ควบคุมตน และ (2) แบบวัดความสามารถในการควบคุมตน มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .90 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) ภายหลังการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนวเพื่อการควบคุมตน ผู้ต้องขังกลุ่มทดลองมีพฤติกรรมการควบคุมตนสูงกว่าก่อนการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และ (2) ผู้ต้องขังกลุ่มทดลองที่ใช้ชุดกิจกรรมแนะแนวเพื่อการควบคุมตนหลัง การทดลองกับระยะติดตามผลมีความสามารถในการควบคุมตนไม่แตกต่างกัน

The purposes of this research were (1) to compare self-control abilities of the experimental group prisoners before and after using a guidance activities package; and (2) to compare self-control abilities of the experimental group prisoners at the end of the experiment and during the follow up period. The research sample consisted of 20 purposively selected prisoners under Control Section in Area 6 of Bang Kwang Central Prison whose self-control behaviors as shown by their prison records were in the risky group. The researcher had these 20 prisoners in the experimental group use a guidance activities package for selfcontrol, developed by the researcher, for six periods each of which lasted for 50 minutes. The employed research instruments were (1) a guidance activities package for self-control; and (2) a scale to assess self-control ability, with reliability coefficient of .90. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research finding showed that (1) after using the self-control guidance activities package, self-control behaviors of the experimental group prisoner were significantly higher than their pre-experiment counterpart behaviors at the .01 level; and (2) self-control abilities of the experimental group prisoners at the end of the experiment and during the follow up period were not significantly different.
