Abstract
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) พฤติกรรมการใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่า 2) ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับ พฤติกรรมการใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่า 3) ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่ออุปสงค์ในการใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่า และ 4) ความยืดหยุ่นของอุปสงค์ในการใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่าภายในประเทศไทยของผู้โดยสารกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาจํานวน 300 ราย ประกอบด้วยผู้โดยสารชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติกลุ่มละ 150 ราย ซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่ใช้บริการสายการบินไทยแอร์เอเชียและนกแอร์ เส้นทางกรุงเทพมหานคร-ภูเก็ตในช่วงเดือนตุลาคม-พฤศจิกายน 2557 โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญและใช้สอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลประกอบด้วย ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ไคสแควร์ การถดถอยพหุคูณ
การทดสอบแบบที และการทดสอบแบบเอฟ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ในการใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่า ผู้โดยสารส่วนใหญ่มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการเดินทางเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวและพักผอน เหตุผลที่ใช้เพราะการเดินทางมีความสะดวกรวดเร็ว เดินทาง 3.86 ครั้ง
ต่อปี เสียค่าใช้จ่ายต่อครั้ง 2,752.77 บาท ชําระค่าโดยสารเอง และจองตั๋วผ่านระบบอินเทอร์เน็ต 2) กรณีของผู้โดยสารชาวไทย ปัจจัยด้านอายุ รายได้ การศึกษา สถานภาพ และอาชีพมีความสัมพันธ์กับบางพฤติกรรมในการ ใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่า ส่วนกรณีของผู้โดยสารต่างประเทศ ปัจจัยส่วนตัวทั้งหมดมีความสัมพันธ์กับ
พฤติกรรมต่างๆ ในการใช้บริการ โดยเฉพาะอายุ รายได้ และอาชีพที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับเกือบทุกพฤติกรรมในการใช้บริการ ที่ระดับนัยสําคัญ 0.05 3) ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่ออุปสงค์ในการใช้บริการสายการบินต้นทุนตํ่าของทั้งผู้โดยสารชาวไทยและต่างประเทศ ที่ระดับนัยสําคัญ 0.05 ได้แก่ รายได้ และค่าโดยสาร 4) ความยืดหยุนของอุปสงค์ต่อค่าโดยสารของผู้โดยสารชาวไทยและชาวต่างประเทศ เท่ากับ -0.9094 ) และ -0.7669 ตามลําดับ และความยืดหยุ่นของอุปสงค์ต่อรายได้ผู้โดยสารชาวไทยและชาวต่างประเทศ เท่ากับ 0.3357 และ 0.0313 ตามลําดับ
This research aimed to investigate: 1) behavior of low-cost airline service using; 2) factors associating with the behavior of low-cost airline service using; 3) factors influencing demand for the low-cost airline service using; and 4) the elasticity of demand for low-cost airline service using of passengers in Thailand. The samples used in the study consisted of 300 passengers, i.e. 150 Thais and 150 oversea, who used Thai Air Asia and Nokair services for travelling on Bangkok – Phuket route during October – November 2014, through accidental sampling method and questionnaire. Frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, Chi-squares, multiple regression analysis, T-test and F-test were employed for analyzing the data. The results of the study were as follows. 1) Most passengers traveled for tourism and leisure, traveled, in average, 3.86 around trips per year and reason for choosing the low cost airline because of convenience, paid 2,752.77 baht per trip, paid fares by themselves, and booked tickets via an internet system. 2) For Thai passengers, age, education, status and occupation were the factors having relationship with some behaviors of low-cost airline using, whereas, for oversea ones, all personal factors had relationship with various behaviors, especially age, income and occupation showing association with most behaviors, at 0.05 significant level. 3) The factors affecting demand for using the low cost airline services, at 0.05 significant level, included income and ticket price. 4) The price elasticity of demand for using low cost airline services of Thai and oversea passengers were -0.9094 and -0.7669 respectively. The incomes’ elasticity of demand for using low cost airline services of Thai and foreign passengers were 0.3357 and 0.0313 respectively.
