การมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ชาวสวนกาแฟกะเปอร์ จำกัด จังหวัดระนอง

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) สภาพทั่วไปของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ 2) การมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ 3) ความสัมพันธ์ของปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ และ 4) ปัญหา อุปสรรค การมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ชาวสวนกาแฟกะเปอร์ จำกัด ประชากรที่ศึกษา คือ สมาชิกสหกรณ์ชาวสวนกาแฟกะเปอร์ จำกัด จังหวัดระนอง โดยศึกษาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 187 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติทดสอบไคสแควร์ และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) สมาชิกส่วนใหญ่ เป็นเพศชาย อายุระหว่าง 41 - 50 ปีการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา รายได้ 100,001 บาท ขึ้นไป เป็นสมาชิก 6 - 10 ปี การรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับสหกรณ์ โดยรับรู้จากเจ้าหน้าที่สหกรณ์มากที่สุด 2) การมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิกโดยรวม อยู่ในระดับมาก ทั้งนี้การมีส่วนร่วมในการตัดสินใจ การมีส่วนร่วมในผลประโยชน์ และการมีส่วนร่วมในการควบคุมตรวจสอบ อยู่ในระดับมาก และการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงาน อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 3) ความสัมพันธ์ของปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิกสหกรณ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ พบว่า (1) ระดับการศึกษา รายได้ การรับข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับสหกรณ์ และความถี่ในการรับรู้ข่าวสารมีความสัมพันธ์กับการมีส่วนร่วมในการตัดสินใจ (2) รายได้ มีความสัมพันธ์กับการมีส่วนร่วมในผลประโยชน์ (3) ระยะเวลาการเป็นสมาชิก มีความสัมพันธ์กับการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงาน และการควบคุมตรวจสอบ และ (4) การรับข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับสหกรณ์ และความถี่ในการรับรู้ข่าวสาร มีความสัมพันธ์กับการมีส่วนร่วมในการตัดสินใจ การดำเนินงาน และการควบคุมตรวจสอบ 4) ปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินธุรกิจของสมาชิก โดยรวม อยู่ในระดับน้อย ปัญหาสำคัญคือ การใช้บริการของเจ้าหน้าที่และกรรมการดำเนินการ

The objectives of this research were to study 1) demographics of the members of Chaosuan Kafae Kapoe Cooperative Limited in Ranong Province; 2) their participation in the cooperative’s business operations; 3) the relationships of demographic factors to members’ participation; and 4) problems with members’participation in the cooperative’s business operations. The sample population consisted of 187 members of Chaosuan Kafae Kapoe Cooperative Limited, a coffee growers cooperative in Ranong Province. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi square test and content analysis. The results showed that 2) Most of the members were male, aged 41-50, and educated to primary school level. Most had income of 100,001 baht or higher and had been members of the cooperative for 6-10 years. They reported receiving news and information about the cooperative mostly from cooperative personnel. 2) Most of the members reported that they had a high level of participation in the cooperative’s administration in the aspects of decision making, benefits, and auditing/inspecting and a medium level of participation in the aspect of business operations. 3) The following statistically significant relationships were identified between demographic factors and participation: (1) educational level, income, exposure to news about the cooperative and frequency of receiving news about the cooperative were related to participation in decision making; (2) income was related to participation in benefits; (3) number of years of members was related to participation in business operations and auditing/inspection; and (4) exposure to news about the cooperative and frequency of receiving news about the cooperative were related to participation in decision making, business operations and auditing/inspection. 4) Overall, the members reported having few problems with participation in the cooperative’s business operations. The main problem that was identified was poor service from cooperative personnel and the operations committee.
