Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ก่อนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้การสอนอ่านโดยใช้เทคนิค KWL Plus กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษพื้นฐาน โรงเรียนบุรีรัมย์พิทยาคม อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2566 จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้การสอนอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้เทคนิค KWL Plus และแบบทดสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า ความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
The purpose of this research was to compare the English reading comprehension of grade 11 before and after learning from teaching reading by using KWL Plus technique. The research sample consisted of 40 grade 11 students of Burirampitthayakhom School, Muang, Buri Ram province in the second semester of the academic year 2023, obtained by cluster random sampling. The employed research instruments included learning management plans for teaching English reading by using KWL Plus technique, and an English reading comprehension test. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research finding revealed that the post-learning English reading comprehension of grade 11 students was higher than their pre-learning counterpart comprehension at the .05 level of statistical significance.
