ประสิทธิภาพการส่งผ่านราคาในตลาดปาล์มน้ำมันและน้ำมันปาล์มของประเทศไทย

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การส่งผ่านราคาของตลาดปาล์มน้ำมัน และน้ำมันปาล์มในประเทศไทยตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ได้แก่ ราคาผลปาล์มสด ราคาน้ำมันปาล์มดิบ ราคาขายส่งน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุขวด ราคาขายส่งน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุปี๊บ ราคาขายปลีกน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุขวด และราคาขายปลีกน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุถุง การศึกษาใช้ข้อมูลอนุกรมเวลารายเดือน เริ่มตั้งแต่ เดือนมกราคม พ.ศ. 2555 ถึงเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2562 รวมข้อมูลทั้งสิ้น 96 เดือน และวิเคราะห์วิธีการทางเศรษฐมิติ ประกอบด้วย การตรวจสอบความหยุดนิ่งของอนุกรมเวลา การทดสอบความสัมพันธ์เชิงเหตุผล การทดสอบความสัมพันธ์เชิงดุลยภาพระยะยาว การปรับตัวระยะสั้นเพื่อเข้าสู่ดุลยภาพ และการวิเคราะห์การส่งผ่านราคาแบบไม่สมมาตร ตามลำดับ ผลการศึกษาเชิงประจักษ์ พบว่า (1) ราคาน้ำมันปาล์มดิบมีอิทธิพลต่อการส่งผ่านราคาในตลาดปาล์มน้ำมันและน้ำมันปาล์มในระดับต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ ราคาผลปาล์มสด ราคาขายส่งน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุขวด และราคาขายปลีกน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุขวด ตามลำดับ และ (2) ประสิทธิภาพการส่งผ่านราคาในตลาดปาล์มน้ำมันและน้ำมันปาล์มของประเทศไทย พบว่า ราคาผลปาล์มสดมีประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุด รองลงมา คือ ราคาขายส่งน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุขวด ราคาขายปลีกน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุขวด และราคาขายส่งน้ำมันปาล์มสำเร็จรูปชนิดบรรจุปี๊บ

The objective of this study is to analyze the price transmission within the supply chain of oil palm and palm oil markets in Thailand including palm fruit price, crude palm oil price, the wholesale price of bottle refined palm oil, the wholesale price of gallon refined palm oil, the retail price of bottle refined palm oil, and retail price of pouch refined palm oil. The study used time-series data between January 2012 to December 2019, of which are 96 monthly price samples in total, were analyzed by econometrics methodology consisting of unit root test, long-run causality test, short-run equilibrium adjustment, and asymmetric price transmission analysis, respectively. The empirical findings are that (1) crude palm oil price has an influence on the price transmission in oil palm and palm oil markets in various levels, i.e., palm fruit price, the wholesale price of bottle refined palm oil, and retail price of bottle refined palm oil, respectively, and (2) the price transmission efficiency in oil palm and palm oil markets in Thailand shows that the palm fruit price has the highest price transmission efficiency, followed by the wholesale price of bottle refined palm oil, the retail price of bottle refined palm oil, and wholesale price of gallon refined palm oil.
