Abstract
การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความเชื่อเรื่องผีกับขนบจารีตทางวัฒนธรรมของลาวครั่ง 2) ความเชื่อเรื่องผีของลาวครั่งมีความเกี่ยวข้องเชื่อมโยงกับวัฒนธรรมในสังคมการเมืองของชุมชน และ 3) ความเชื่อเรื่องผีที่ส่งผลต่อการสร้างความชอบธรรมทางอำนาจในระบบความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมการเมืองของลาวครั่ง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ความเชื่อเรื่องผีมีความสัมพันธ์กับการดำเนินชีวิตของลาวครั่งและความเชื่อยังปลูกฝังให้เชื่อผู้นำตามประเพณี ส่งผลให้มีแบบอย่างและข้อห้ามในการปฏิบัติตัวเพื่อให้คนในชุมชนอยู่ในกฎ ระเบียบตามที่ผู้นำต้องการ และคนในชุมชนสามารถดำรงชีวิตอยู่ในสังคมได้อย่างสันติสุข 2) ความเชื่อเรื่องผีมีความเชื่อมโยงกับวัฒนธรรมในสังคมการเมืองในชุมชนโดยผู้นำตามประเพณีจะมีอิทธิพลทางความคิดต่อการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกผู้นำในเทศบาลตำบลบ่อกรุ ที่จะเข้ามาพัฒนาชุมชนและจะต้องได้รับการยอมรับจากผู้นำตามความเชื่อ นอกจากนี้ยังมีอิทธิพลในด้านการปกครองด้วย เมื่อเกิดกิจกรรมทั้งส่วนรวมหรือส่วนตัว จะต้องผ่านการบอกกล่าวกวนเสมอ ๆ เพื่อเป็นการขออนุญาตกระทำกิจกรรมดังกล่าว เป็นการสอนให้ชุมชนรู้จักเคารพผู้อาวุโสด้วยและ 3) ความเชื่อเรื่องผีสร้างความชอบธรรมให้กับผู้นำที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมของคนในชุมชน ซึ่งคนในชุมชนเห็นว่ามีบุคลิกลักษณะพิเศษที่จะสามารถมาเป็นผู้ควบคุมคนในชุมชนและดูแลรักษาทรัพยากรของชุมชนให้มีความเท่าเทียมกันและคนในชุมชนยอมรับซึ่งเห็นได้จากนายกเทศมนตรีที่ทำตัวกลมกลืนและพัฒนาชุมชนโดยไม่มีความขัดแย้งในทางกลับกันคนในชุมชนก็พึงพอใจในการทำงานของนายกเทศมนตรีด้วย เป็นการสร้างความชอบธรรมในการเข้าสู่อำนาจของผู้นำตามกฎหมาย
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the relationship between belief in ghosts and the culture of Lao Khrang, 2) to investigate the linkage between Lao Khrang's belief in ghosts and culture in the community's political society; and 3) to study how the belief in ghosts affects the creation of power legitimacy in Lao Khrang's socio-political relationship. This qualitative study included a literature review and in-depth interviews with 14 key informants: the traditional leaders, community leaders, qualified individuals, and members of the local community. Then, the collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The study found that 1) the belief in ghosts was related to the way of life of Lao Khrang. As a result, there were community rules that met the needs of the leader, and the community was able to live peacefully in society. 2) The belief in ghosts was linked to culture in the political society, with the traditional leader having an influence on the community's decision-making in electing the leader in Bo Kru Sub-District Municipality who would develop the community and must obtain the acceptance of the faith leader. Furthermore, traditional leaders had influence in governance when there were activities, whether public or private. They had to be informed first to request permission to carry out the activity, which was to teach the community to respect the elders. 3) The belief in ghosts created the power legitimacy for the leader who had influenced the behavior of the community, which the community considered a unique personality that could control the community and maintain the community's resources equally. As a result, the community recognized him, percievably the mayor, was able to make harmony and develop the community without conflict. On the other hand, the community also appreciates the mayor's work through the creation of power legitimacy for the leader.
