การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษา (1) พฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุ (2) ปัจจัยคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ปัจจัยนำ ปัจจัยเอื้อ และปัจจัยเสริม(3) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ปัจจัยนำ ปัจจัยเอื้อ และปัจจัยเสริม กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพ และ (4) ปัจจัยทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุ โรงพยาบาลสิรินธรกรุงเทพมหานครประชากรที่ศึกษา เป็นสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุโรงพยาบาลสิรินธร ที่มาเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างน้อยหนึ่งครั้งใน พ.ศ. 2562 จำนวน 865 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 150 คน โดยการสุ่มอย่างง่ายเครื่องมือเป็นแบบสอบถามมีความเที่ยงระหว่าง 0.637-0.933 สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ คือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบไค-สแควร์ สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุแบบขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) พฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุอยู่ในระดับสูง (2) กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อยู่ในวัยสูงอายุตอนต้น (อายุ 60-70 ปี) สถานภาพสมรส จบปริญญาตรีขึ้นไป รายได้น้อยกว่า 5,000 บาทต่อเดือน อาชีพหลักไม่ได้ทำงาน ปัจจัยนำอยู่ในระดับสูง ปัจจัยเอื้อและปัจจัยเสริมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (3) ปัจจัยคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคลด้านรายได้ ปัจจัยนำ ปัจจัยเอื้อ และปัจจัยเสริม มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และ (4) ปัจจัยทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุ เรียงลำดับอิทธิพลจากมากไปน้อย ได้แก่ การได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารการดูแลทันตสุขภาพจากชมรมผู้สูงอายุ การรับรู้ประโยชน์ของการดูแลทันตสุขภาพและการเข้าถึงอุปกรณ์การดูแลทันตสุขภาพ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 โดยร่วมกันทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลทันตสุขภาพได้ร้อยละ 26.7
The objectives of this survey research were: (1) to identify dental health care behaviors; (2) to determine personal factors, predisposing factors, enabling factors and reinforcing factors; (3) to explore the relationship between personal factors, predisposing factors, enabling factors as well as reinforcing factors, and dental health care behaviors; and (4) to identify predictive factors on dental health care behaviors, all of members of the elderly club at Sirindhorn Hospital under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The study involved 150 participants randomly selected from 865 members of the elderly club of the hospital who had joined the activities at least once in 2019. Data were collected using a questionnaire with the reliability value of 0.637–0.933, and then analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that, among all 150 participants: (1) their dental health care behaviors were at a high level; (2) most of them were female, aged 60–70 years, married and unemployed; had a bachelor’s degree or higher and a monthly income less than 5,000 baht; their predisposing factors were at a high level, while enabling and reinforcing factors were at a moderate level; (3) personal factors such as income as well as predisposing, enabling and reinforcing factors were significantly associated with dental health care behaviors (p-value = 0.05); and (4) predictive factors of dental health care behaviors were, in descending influence order, getting dental health information from the elderly club, perceived benefits of dental health care, and access to dental care equipment; and could overall explained 26.7% of such behaviors at P = 0.01
