Abstract
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศผลิตภัณฑ์สําหรับบริการด้านการขายของบริษัท แคเรียร์ (ประเทศไทย) จํากัด ที่ทํางานบนเครือข่ายภายในบริษัทฯ โดยจัดเก็บข้อมูลผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องปรับอากาศเป็นหมวดหมู่ สามารถใช้ในการค้นหาข้อมูลได้สะดวกรวดเร็วและป้องกันการสูญหายของข้อมูล อีกทั้งยังช่วยสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจของพนักงานขายในการเลือกเครื่องปรับอากาศให้แก่ลูกค้าด้วยวิธีการในการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศผลิตภัณฑ์นี้ใช้หลักการของวงจรการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศ โดยเริ่มจากการศึกษาปัญหาต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้น พบว่าข้อมูลผลิตภัณฑ์ขาดความครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์และมักขัดแย้งกัน จากนั้นวิเคราะห์และออกแบบระบบสารสนเทศใหม่ ซึ่งระบบสารสนเทศที่พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วย 4 ระบบงานย่อย คือระบบตรวจสอบสิทธิการใช้งานระบบบันทึกและปรับปรุง ระบบสืบค้นข้อมูล และระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจเลือกเครื่องปรับอากาศ การพัฒนาระบบได้ใช้ภาษา PHP และระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูล MYSQL ภายใต้ระบบปฏิบัติการ Microsoft Windows 2000 ผลที่ได้จากการวิจัยนี้ทําให้พนักงานขายสามารถค้นหาข้อมูลได้อย่างสะดวกรวดเร็วประหยัดเวลาในการค้นหา สามารถบันทึกและปรับปรุงข้อมูลได้อย่างถูกต้อง และลดข้อผิดพลาด และความขัดแย้งกันของข้อมูล รวมทั้งระบบสามารถช่วยคํานวณหาขนาดเครื่องปรับอากาศที่เหมาะสมได้อีกด้วย
The purpose of the research is to develop a product information system for sales services to be used internally at Carrier (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The system functions are to organize and store information related to air-conditioning units, to retrieve information conveniently and quickly, to prevent loss of data, and, to help salespersons select products for customers.The system development life cycle methodology was used in this research. A preliminary study focused on the existing problems. It was found that product-related information had been incomplete and inconsistent. The analysis and design of a new system were carried out accordingly. The information system consists of four subsystems: the user verification subsystem, the data entry subsystem, the search subsystem and the selection support subsystem. The tools used were the PHP language and MySQL database management system. The operating system was Microsoft Windows 2000.The results of the research allowed the salespersons to search for information faster, and thus saved time. The sales staff could enter and update data accurately, which reduced errors and data inconsistencies. The system could help calculate the BTU of a suitable air-conditioning unit.
