Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ก่อนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้แผนผังความคิด (2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนหลังเรียนกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 และ (3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้แผนผังความคิด ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนโดยใช้แผนผังความคิด หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (2) ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียน หลังเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ (3) นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการเรียนโดยใช้แผนผังความคิดอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
The purposes of this research were to (1) compare English reading comprehension ability of grade 5 students before and after learning by using mind mapping; (2) compare English reading comprehension ability after learning by using mind mapping to the 75% criterion; and (3) study students’ satisfaction towards English learning by using mind mapping. The research sample consisted of 17 grade 5 students studying in the first semester of the academic year 2021 at Watjantaram school in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, obtained by cluster sampling. The employed research tools were (1) learning management plans by using mind mapping; (2) an English reading comprehension test; and (3) a questionnaire on students’ satisfaction towards English learning by using mind mapping. The data were analyzed using the mean, standard division, and sign test. The results of this research were revealed as follows (1) the post-learning mean score on English reading comprehension of grade 5 students after learning by using mind mapping was higher than before the experiment at the .05 level of statistical significance; (2) the post-learning mean score on English reading comprehension after learning by using mind mapping was higher than 75% criterion at the .05 level of statistical significance; and (3) students’ satisfaction towards learning by using mind mapping was at the highest level
