ความพอใจในงานของข้าราชการตำรวจ กองบังคับการอำนวยการตำรวจภูธรภาค 8 จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาระดับความพอใจในงานของข้าราชการตำรวจ กองบังคับการอำนวยการตำรวจภูธรภาค 8 จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี (2) เปรียบเทียบระดับความพอใจในงานของข้าราชการตำรวจ กองบังคับการอำนวยการ ตำรวจภูธรภาค 8 จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล (3) เสนอแนะแนวทางในทางสร้างเสริม ความพอใจในงานของข้าราชการตำรวจ กองบังคับการอำนวยการ ตำรวจภูธรภาค 8 ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา ได้แก่ ข้าราชการตำรวจ กองบังคับการอำนวยการ ตำรวจภูธร ภาค 8 จำนวนทั้งหมด 206 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คำนวณจากสูตรของทาโร ยามาเน่ จำนวน 136 คน กำหนดขนาดตัวอย่างตามสัดส่วน ใช้แบบสอบถามที่ผู้ศึกษาสร้างขึ้นเป็นเครื่องมือในการศึกษา สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าทีและค่าเอฟ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ข้าราชการตำรวจกองบังคับการ อำนวยการ ตำรวจภูธร ภาค 8 มี ระดับความพอใจในงานโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า ด้านความสำเร็จของงาน มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด ส่วนด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุด คือ ด้านความก้าวหน้าในการทำงาน (2) ผลการเปรียบเทียบระดับความพอใจในงานของข้าราชการตำรวจ กองบังคับการอำนวยการ ตำรวจภูธรภาค 8 จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล พบว่า ข้าราชการตำรวจ ที่มีเพศ อายุ การศึกษา รายได้ และระยะเวลาปฏิบัติงาน ต่างกัน มีความพอใจในงานทั้งโดยรวมและรายด้านไม่แตกต่างกัน (3) ข้อเสนอแนะสำคัญ ได้แก่ ผู้บังคับบัญชาควรหาเทคนิคในการสร้างความมั่นใจให้กับผู้ใต้บังคับบัญชา เช่น การส่งเสริมให้ได้รับการฝึกอบรมเพื่อเพิ่มเติมความรู้ให้มากยิ่งขึ้น หรือการส่งเสริมให้ได้รับการศึกษาต่อในระดับสูงขึ้น ควรให้ผู้ใต้บังคับบัญชาเกิดความมั่นใจในโอกาสที่จะได้รับพิจารณาความดีความชอบอย่างบริสุทธิ์ยุติธรรม รวมทั้งการพิจารณาเลื่อนตำแหน่งที่สูงขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ควรกำหนดแนวทางปฏิบัติในการรับผิดชอบร่วมกันกับผู้ใต้บังคับบัญชาในการแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นจากข้อผิดพลาดจากการปฏิบัติงาน

This study aimed to 1) study level of job satisfaction of police officers, Police Commissioner Department, Provincial Police Region 8, Surat Thani Province 2) compare level of job satisfaction of police officers, Police Commissioner Department, Provincial Police Region 8, Surat Thani Province, classified by personal factors, 3)propose recommendation to enhance job satisfaction of police officers, Police Commissioner Department, Provincial Police Region 8, Surat Thani Province. Population comprised 206 police officers working at Police Commissioner Department, Provincial Police Region 8, Surat Thani Province, from which 136 samples were obtained via Taro Yamane calculation method. Proportional sampling method was applied. Instrument used was questionnaire. Statistical tools employed were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. Study result revealed that 1) job satisfaction of police officers, Police Commissioner Department, Provincial Police Region 8, Surat Thani Province was at high level, with the highest mean on work achievement, and the lowest mean on advancement 2) when compared job satisfaction of police officers, no differences were found among job satisfaction of those with different genders, ages, education levels, income, and working years; both in the overall view and in all aspects 3) major recommendations were : supervisors should find out appropriate techniques to enhance confidence of subordinates, such as encouraged them to increase their knowledge through training, or studying in higher level, confidence of officers in fair performance appraisal together with impartial consideration in promotion to higher position should also be built up, moreover, supervisors should determine appropriate ways to foster full responsibility sharing with subordinates to solve problems from any error occurred in the operation.
