Abstract
การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบถึงแนวคิดทางการเมืองของคณะ ร.ศ. 130 การศึกษาวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลในรูปแบบเชิงพรรณนา ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า แนวคิดทางการเมืองของคณะ ร.ศ.130 เป็นแนวคิดเสรีนิยม คือ แนวคิดที่เห็นความสำคัญของเสรีภาพและความเสมอภาค ความตื่นรู้และการตระหนักถึงความจำเป็นในการเปลี่ยนแปลงการเมืองการปกครองสยามไปสู่เสรีประชาธิปไตยที่อำนาจการปกครองเป็นของประชาชน ต้องการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองจากระบอบสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์ที่กษัตริย์มีอำนาจสูงสุดไปสู่การปกครองที่รัฐธรรมนูญหรือกฎหมายมีอำนาจสูงสุด ทั้งนี้ บุคคลผู้เข้าร่วมคณะ ร.ศ.130 มีความเข้าใจในแนวคิดเสรีนิยม และจุดมุ่งหมายในการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองสยามแบ่งออกเป็นสองกลุ่ม กลุ่มแรกต้องการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองสยามจากระบอบสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์ ที่มีกษัตริย์อยู่เหนือกฎหมายเป็นระบอบกษัตริย์ภายใต้รัฐธรรมนูญ กลุ่มที่สองต้องการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองสยามไปสู่ระบอบสาธารณรัฐ คือ ให้มีรัฐธรรมนูญเป็นหลักในการปกครองประเทศ ทั้งนี้ แนวคิดเสรีนิยมของคณะ ร.ศ. 130 เป็นการแสดงให้เห็นถึงการรับรู้เรื่องรัฐธรรมนูญ อันเป็นหลักการพื้นฐานของเสรีนิยมและประชาธิปไตยในสยามเป็นแรงผลักดันที่ก่อให้เกิดความพยายามที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงการเมืองปกครองใน พ.ศ. 2455ในลักษณะการปฏิวัติ และถือเป็นการวางรากรากฐานแนวความคิดให้กับคณะราษฎรในการปฏิวัติเปลี่ยนแปลงการเมืองการปกครองสยามในอีก 20 ปีต่อมา คือวันที่ 24 มิถุนายน 2475
The objective of this study was to know about the political thought of the 130 Ratanakosin Era movement in Siam. The study was a qualitative research based on data from related historical documents. Analysis of the data took the form of descriptive analysis.The research findings were as follows: The political thought of the 130 Ratanakosin Era movement in Siam was a liberal concept of the importance of freedom and equality, awakening and recognizing the need to change the political regime of Siam to the democratic power of the people. Their intent was to change the rule of the monarchy with the king as the supreme power, to a system of constitutional rule or legal supremacy. The individual participants of the 130 Ratanakosin Era movement in Siam, who shared an understanding of liberal ideals and the aim of regime change Siam, were divided into two groups. The first group wanted to change the rule of monarchy but the king would remain above the law in a constitutional monarchy. The second group wanted to change Siam to a republic with a constitution as the main rule in the country. The political thought of the 130 Ratanakosin Era movement in Siam showed awareness of the Constitution, the basic principles of liberalism and democracy in Siam. It was the driving force behind the attempt to change the political regime in 2455 in a revolution, and it constitutes the foundation of concepts of the group of people who successfully initiated a revolutionary change in Siamese politics again 20 years later, on June 24, 2475.
